Chiputt Tour-Grade Putting Mat (3x8 + 3x3 Chipping Mat)
I bought the Chiputt putting mat for my rooftop terrace so I could consistently work on my short game without needing to get to the course... and it’s honestly been one of the better golf purchases I’ve made. What initially sold me was the inclusion of the chipping mat. Most putting mats are just that...putting only...but this setup actually lets you practice both putting and chipping in one system, which makes it way more useful day-to-day. The versatility is a big differentiator, and it’s clearly designed as a full short-game training tool rather than a gimmick. The quality is legit. The turf rolls true and feels consistent, which is exactly what you want when you’re trying to dial in pace and confidence. From what I’ve experienced (and what others seem to say), it replicates a realistic green speed, so your practice actually translates when you’re on the course. The chipping mat is probably my favorite part...it adds a completely different dimension to practice. Being able to hit chips and immediately transition into putts makes it feel more like real play rather than isolated drills. If I had one regret, it’s size. I went with the 3x8 and added the 3x3 mat, which works well for my space, but if you have the room, I’d 100% go bigger. The longer distance would make it even more valuable for lag putting and overall feel.

Thank you Jonathan! Since the Chiputt Mat is waterproof, it's so cool to see you setting it up on the rooftop! You nailed it, it's designed to be a complete short-game training system, not just a putting strip. The transition from chipping to putting is where practice truly starts to feel like real play, and that's when real improvement happens. Thanks again for the thoughtful feedback and for making Chiputt part of your daily routine. Wishing you plenty of rooftop birdies ahead! ⛳️
