The Author VerseReviews of theauthorverse.com

There is no such thing as The author verse. All the numbers are not working and the business is a transport office.

The Author Verse provided decent editorial formatting and useful book marketing suggestions. However, turnaround times for final revisions lagged significantly behind schedule, which pushed back our planned launch date more than once.

The Incomparable Noah Johnson. A winner to me is someone who throws themselves heart and soul into a project, immersing themselves and coming up with solid solutions. He communicates well, keeps his promises, responds by email or phone in a timely manner. His discussion of my book shows that he read and understood its core messages. This allowed them to design relevant marketing material in a timely manner. I would not hesitate to recommend Noah Johnson as a detail oriented, fair and objective marketing/publishing genius.

Update Oct. 2, 2026: I waited ~1 week from the reply from The Author Verse saying “Our finance and billing team is contacting you soon to get your complaint resolved”. I never heard anything so I sent them an email with a screenshot of the Trustpilot review reply from them. Next week will be a month and I have still not heard from anyone. No reply from David W, Ross T, or the info email they use. This month marks a year since I paid with no services provided and no refund. Original post: I do not recommend working with The Author Verse. I signed up with them to help publish a book after being told there was a 100% money-back guarantee if I was not satisfied. I paid in full, but I was never able to begin the project and requested a refund before any work was started. I was told the refund would be processed within 10 business days. It never came. I followed up multiple times. Eventually, they stopped answering my calls. When I called from a different phone number, they answered and provided a new email contact who assured me the refund would be processed. That was nearly six months ago. Since then, I have received no refund and no further communication, despite repeated written follow-ups. No work was ever performed on my project. Based on my experience, the refund guarantee was not honored, and communication stopped once I requested my money back. I would strongly caution others before paying upfront.

The attention to detail is what impressed me the most. My manuscript went through multiple edits, and they polished it without losing my voice as a writer. They really respect the author’s vision.

The Author Verse is a very professional outfit. They have somw great and talented people on their team. I enjoy my experience with them and they respect your time. They definitely stand out from other companies in this industry.
