My experience with Texas Winos started off on a positive note. In June 2025, I attended one of their Wino Fest events in Magnolia and thoroughly enjoyed it. Based on that experience, I booked the Fredericksburg Vintner Winery Tour & Italian Lunch for my birthday in July 2025. Unfortunately, less than an hour before the tour was scheduled to begin, it was canceled. We were notified by email that the scheduled driver had experienced a medical emergency and the backup driver was already assisting with another event. The company apologized and offered to double our winery tour credits, provide free tickets to any 2025 Wino Fest, and allow us to attend a Boat Bash on Lake Travis that same day. While I appreciated the gesture, the Boat Bash offer was impossible to accept. We received the email around 10:00 a.m., and the event began at 11:30 a.m. We were already in Fredericksburg, so there was no realistic way to drive to Lake Travis in time. Although my birthday plans were ruined, I understood that emergencies happen and accepted the four winery tour credits and two Wino Fest tickets for future use. A year later, for my birthday in July 2026, I decided to use my credits to book the same Fredericksburg winery tour. We arrived at the designated meeting location early and waited for the tour to begin. The scheduled start time came and went, but no driver or tour vehicle ever arrived. Even more frustrating, there was no communication whatsoever to let us know there was a delay, cancellation, or any other issue. I immediately called, texted, and emailed the company but did not receive a response for more than an hour. Richard eventually replied by email, stating that the driver had picked up the vehicle on time and that their digital roster showed the other attendees had joined the tour. This only added to my confusion because I had arrived early at the exact meeting location provided in their confirmation link. I even replied with a screenshot from their own link showing where I had been instructed to meet, but I never received another response that day. The following day, I again requested an explanation for what had happened and asked for a refund. I received no response to either request. After two consecutive years of having my birthday plans ruined by this company, I can no longer recommend them. My communications have been with Richard, and based on my experience, I feel I was treated unfairly and ignored when I tried to resolve the situation. I'm sharing my experience so others can make an informed decision before booking and hopefully avoid the disappointment that I experienced.

I've previously been to a couple of their other events in past. I purchased two tickets on 1/17 to their Wino Fest event in Plano that was supposed to take place 2/7. They emailed me on the morning of 2/7 asking if I had received prior emails stating the event was canceled, due to a mix up with the venue regarding the date. I had not received any prior emails (there were none in my spam). At that time they offered a refund or to give me tickets to two upcoming events. After looking for several weeks, I could not find two events close to me. I contacted them regarding the rescheduling on 3/15/26, 3/28/26, and 4/13/26. They had dates on their social media sites that did not show on their website. After doing more research, I saw recent online accounts of them canceling events at the last minute and not paying venues. I began asking for a refund on 4/15/26, which they responded to by defending their reputation. I again asked for a refund on 4/16 and 4/18 with no response. I assume they've experienced recent business issues, since the last time I attended one of their events.

Do NOT buy tickets to any of their events. I purchased (4) tickets for an event in Plano Tx for 2/7/26. When I started seeing scam/fraud comments I decided to cancel. Their website states you can cancel for a refund up to 72 hrs before the event. I received a reply stating that my order was cancelled but they would hold onto my money for when I booked another event. I never said I wanted to book for another event. Then began a series of 6 emails fr “Raymond” stalling. Save yourself the headache and steer clear of these thief’s!

Scammed for $432 Four of us girlfriends planned an out-of-town trip to Dallas in April 2025, and scheduled a Texas Winos tour to visit three wineries including an Italian lunch. The preliminary communication was excellent as we were confirmed with our booking for $432. On the way to Dallas, I received an email that the tour had been cancelled with a lame excuse. Come to find out through other reviews, the same excuse was used on previous tours as well. Through repeated attempts to get a refund, it is apparent that this outfit is scamming people, promising events that don't come to fruition, and getting away with it. This fraudulent company must be reckoned with by the Texas Attorney General's office, the Federal Trade Commission, and any other lawful means to shut them down.

This organization recharged my credit card 3 months after my original purchase of more than $300. I approached it as an honest mistake and, although the merchant said they would reverse the charge, they never did. Avoid giving your CC information to this website/merchant.
