Just awful- I ordered my test on the 22nd of April with a promise of results in 7-10 working days- it’s now the 9 th of June and nothing........ that’s now 6-7 weeks. In this time I contacted them to be replied to very bluntly. I have just emailed to demand a full refund however after reading their reviews from others I fear this will be ignored and I won’t receive one. I would never recommend this company to anyone- avoid at all costs.

Sorry to hear you had a negative experience with us. Our turnaround is 7-10 working days from the day we receive a sample, as we unfortunately have no control over the post and many of our customers are international.

TMI testing is fake
Service : paid extra for fast turn round on my results. Took weeks for results to arrive no compensation for extra money spent. And took two attempts contacting them to get my results. And didn’t get the additional money back for express results.
Buying: very simple to buy they took my money instantly.
Product: The results don’t come with any explanation and they do explain that even though it might say you have an intolerance to something you may not! So if your asking for definite answers this is not for you.

Sorry to hear you were unhappy with your experience. We do state that our turnaround and fast track is for the time between receiving your sample and sending you your results. Unfortunately as we cannot control the speed of international post, this means that it can take some time for samples to reach us which can delay the process.
Our results explain that while a level above the threshold indicates an intolerance, but that intolerances can be present without symptoms.
Wishing you the best in dealing with your intolerances.

One word PATHETIC
One word PATHETIC! Absolute joke of a company that doesn't even know how to spell customer service nevermind provide it!
I bought a basic intolerance check for £33 or so. I thought I was going to receive a package in the post so that I could send off my sample. That didn't happen. So I contacted customer services.... who managed to reply promptly in 7 days!!!! I was told to just my sample in my own packaging?! What about contamination? I've then requested a refund by email. And have waited 22 days and still have not received anything! Avoid like the plague. Absolute cowboy business. A con if I ever saw one!
Edit: this is an edit to TestMyIntolerance reply below. Its nice to see that only positive feedback is considered as "REAL". Am I the only customer that has given the company a negative review? Or are my eyes deceiving me as they are not "REAL"? Would you say "REAL" businesses take 7 days to reply to email and over 22 days to refund customers? I was eventually told by email that the refund will be processed in 7-10 days which was on the 15/05/2019. I requested my refund on the 24/04/2019! I take it "REAL" business ain't fussed about how they treat their customers? So if anyone is reading this, dont fall for their "REAL" reviews. I would of given a 5 star review if your company was called "TestMyPatience" Get a grip and keep it "REAL"

Wow, we are so sorry you feel about this so passionately, especially when we advertise the benefit that you provide your own sample bag on the product page, in the terms and conditions and on many pages too. Most people look at this as a benefit as it means you don't have to wait for us to send you anything, and we give clear instructions on the style of sample bag you use to avoid contamination.
We also have a customer service team who work 24 hours Monday to Friday who are available on LiveChat and on the phone to help you with any questions.
For anyone reading, we'd like to clarify that we service over 9000 clients a month, many of whom are very happy with the service, so we are definitely not a con, nor cowboys. For REAL reviews, please check out our Trusted Shops accounts linked from our site, which only people who genuinely purchase the test can visit.

TMI Testing does NOT Actually Test Your Samples
I thought I would try this out and bought the couple package to test my intolerances. Paid for the 600 items test for my hubby and I. You simply send a hair sample, it gets tested and you get a report of your intolerances. Great! Well yes, yes it would be if you *actually* got that. Using TMI for intolerance testing was on par with my grandmother's quack advice of home remedies for headaches or "wrapping an achy joint in brown paper and paraffin".
I got sent our test results and they were not results for a test on 600 items. We got sent results for items where an intolerance shows of 85% or more so on my report for example, I only see about 25 items. Testing for vitamin deficiency you only get to see a report on vitamins you have a "15% or less" deficiency. To keep things simple for some people you can see how this makes sense however - I am fully aware of some food items I am severely allergic to and these foods did NOT show up. My contention is that some people might have an intolerance reading of say for example 70% and be allergic to that food or metal so giving people test results which do not show intolerances of 50% and over is inconclusive. I emailed and requested to be sent the full report only to be told their testing machine does not store the data for all 600 items tested. At which point I promptly requested a refund because I paid for a test on 600 items and results for 600 items is what I expect to see. The vague PDF of info I was sent makes me question if a) those were the few items actually tested and b) was our hair sample even tested at all? Because without them being able to prove that all 600 items were tested then how do I know they *actually* did this?
Also, they claim they only show vitamin deficiency results where it is 15% or less. Based on what? I mean, what is the measure they are using as a base? 800UI? 2,000mg? Going off food standards RDA? What is the bases of this 15%? But besides that, there are some vitamins that the body processes through mostly as waste and that's why you need a higher dose of those (a lot of B vitamins for example) so if your B vitamins come out at 20%, 22%, 38% etc, they see that as "okay" yet it probably is not all okay because a vast percentage of B vitamins is filtered out of the body hence needing higher doses of it than say for example vitamin A.
Further research done on their testing method shows that it is basically rubbish. Their website will lead you to believe they are using actual lab testing-WRONG! They use "bio-resonance" and that is essentially homeopathic medicine. Hair or spit samples are put in this machine and that sample gives off an energy....(can you see how this is not very scientific yet? But wait...) and this machine you can simply Google search it and buy it for yourself and set yourself up a company just like this one! Yup. No actual, factual science here. What's laughable is you can get a version of this machine that you put the palms of your hands on and it 'reads bad energy' so like how Scientologists screen people.
Anyway...DON'T waste your money. I pointed out some hard facts to this company and requested a full refund which they agreed to. I have to wait 7-10 days for it and if I don't get my refund I will update this review to let you know!
**Update - I did get my refund**
**Update 2 - They've replied to this review. Apparently they are "committed to customer satisfaction so wanted to reach out". I think they have commitment issues seeing how I reviewed this in 2019 and it's taken till 2021 for them to reply to a review. Furthermore, they've replied to this review accusing me of being wrong/ confused and making assumptions as a means of covering up their fake testing. E.G: assuming/ accusing me of taking vitamin supplements (which I don't and certainly wasn't when I tried their testing) as the apparent reason their tests were off the mark (so trying to make it my fault their tests were a load of rubbish) then saying I'm getting a hair test and 'complimentary hair test' confused with "the hair test that was paid for" and mentioning blood tests like as though that makes them more legite. 1stly, they contradicted themselves there about the hair testing and 2ndly, when I bought their hair test in 2019 they only offered hair testing!! They say on the reply here that their website is clear about their testing being part of 'complimentary medicine and alternative therapy' but this was NOT the case back in 2019. They go on to say they can refund me and I can claim this...I claimed a refund in 2019 - theres that great customer service commitment they claim to be strong on if they didn't know that! And still...no proof offered they tested 600 allergens (no doubt their computers still lack hard drives and the ability to store information as was claimed in 2019).

Thank you for reaching out Evie,
We wanted to reach out as we are committed to customer satisfaction. We think there may be some confusion in the two types of tests you have chosen to compare. You are comparing your results against a complimentary hair testing therapy.
We provide a range of different tests that require different testing methods from hair and blood. The test you have purchased is a hair test and we are proud to provide sensitivity testing through bioresonance therapy, which is classed as Complimentary Alternative Medicine (CAM). We provide all of the upfront information across our website for customers to choose the right testing method for them. We also have a dedicated page to bioresonance therapy - https://www.tmitesting.com/how-it-works/ This also would not cover a supplement stopping you from having an imbalance, as the overuse of supplements could be causing the imbalance, which is why it has shown in your results.
I can assure you we are a legitimate company and not a scam, we test over 5,000 people every month and have a lot of amazing feedback and reviews where we have changed lives for the better as a result of the results provided. We are also the ONLY company that offers Test Facts on each test, so that you are fully aware of everything about this test, before you choose it. We are upfront, and honest, and are proud of the people we help. These can be found on the test you ordered.
As explained, we have carried out every part of the testing, as requested by you, so we're sorry you have not left satisfied.
However we wanted to reach out personally as we are committed to customer satisfaction.
I can assure you we are a legitimate company and not a scam, we test over 5,000 people every month and have a lot of amazing feedback and reviews where we have changed lives for the better as a result of the results provided.
One of our customer satisfaction policies is that we offer a money-back promise and we have no problem in arranging a refund. As explained, we have carried out every part of the testing, as requested by you, so we're sorry you have not left satisfied.
Thank you,
The hardworking team at TMI Testing.

Do not use this company
Do not use this company.
I ordered from this company by accident, after speaking with a friend she advised me to use test YOUR intolerance, so I had a look at their site, to find their prices were cheaper too, I decided to cancel my order with this company and place my order with the other.
I sent a message to the online chat facility and I was told that they were sister companies, I'm not sure why they are charging different amounts, but I overlooked that. They asked me if I wanted a refund I were to email them, which I did straight away.
I was asked 4 times why I wanted a refund, which I did explain even though by law I do not need to give a reason. They were extremely difficult, but I pressed that I wanted a refund, they then told me that they could refund me but a £15 admin charge would be required. £15 is not a lot of money, but out of principle I was not going to be conned in this way, unknowingly to them I am well aware of my rights as I am a director of a large company who has an e-commerce site. I looked on their website T&C's and no where does it say that a £15 charge is applied for refunds, again I know my rights so they are breaking the law.
Anyway, after too long I eventually got my refund by raising a claim on PayPal & contacting my bank, it should never have taken so long.
I'm writing this review in the hope that it will stop people ordering with this website, if you have ordered with them and you want a refund do not accept their £15 charge, they are breaking the law, you do not need to pay this, contact your bank and raise a claim on PayPal and it will get sorted... eventually!

Thank you for your review, we would never charge anyone for a refund and we are very proud of our Money Back Guarentee which is there to ensure people can choose Test My Intolerance to get accurate results from our UK based lab.
We cannot comment on the practices of another lab, however here at Test My Intolerance, we are always looking for ways to improve our service, so thank you for getting in touch.

AVOID - cowboys!!
I purchased the couples test which promised an intolerance test against 600 items. All their tests are presented pretty boldly so you think that’s what you’re getting, WRONG!
My results came back as did my friends and they had items of food that neither of us have ever eaten like horse! And other things that have no negative effect on me once I’ve eaten them.
I contacted the company to say the report was ridiculous: it listed 15-20 items in a so-called informative report when really the first and last page are just bog standard guidance. The report is worthless. They said they only include items with an 85% score and nothing else which isn’t what the big bold “600 items” suggests on their site.
I thought ok fine, at least they have a money back guarantee so I asked for a refund. However, their useless customer service said that I would be deducted £15 because I didn’t follow their abstinence diet they recommend after you receive your results. My point was, how am I meant to exclude items like horse when I don’t even eat them in the first place!!!!!
They’re a complete con and I’d rather go to a reputable company and use the more reliable method of a blood test than hair sample. Don’t be fooled by their success stories on their site, it’s not true. Don’t waste your time on these guys because you can better educate yourself by just avoiding certain foods and non foods, like wool!
What a load of rubbish

Thank you for your review, however, it appears you have not actually read the information that was provided. As you can imagine, you can be intolerant to items even if you don't eat them. If you didn't eat apples, your body can still be intolerant to it. You can then avoid all the items on the test, however (obviously) this means the ones you do eat.
You'll be pleased to hear that we have removed horse meat from our food items, however we are a global company offering testing in 46 countries, so we do have to test for items that are also popular outside of the UK.
We would never deduct money from a refund, we are proud of our Money Back Guarantee which offers people the peace of mind that they can invest in their health.
