Mostly a good experience
Getting the blood order online was easy. That was good. I then made an online appointment with the local LabCorp in Sedro-Woolley, WA. The appointment was for 730am, but they wanted me there 15 minutes early, so I was outside at 7:15am. It was New Years Eve, but the sign on the door said they would be open till noon. I waited till 8:am, but no one ever showed up. I finally went home. Fortunately, I was able to connect with LabCorp in Mount Vernon WA, and went there, 10 miles or so. I was delighted to find them open. The checkin and service was excellent. I was amazed to be notified the the next day that my results were available, on New Year's Day. Overall, the whole process went very smoothly except connecting with my local LabCorp. I would suggest making the preparation instructions readily available online. I had a lipid test found no direction that I should be fasting till I got to the lab. Fortunately, I was already aware of the requirement.

Importance of choosing the best vein and the best size of needle for blood drawing.
During blood drawing a larger needle was used and a large hematoma formed on my right hand. Then a small needle was used on the left hand. This was an unpleasant experience. Overall it was timely and efficient experience with the team of people nice and pleasant.
