The tiny basket of flowers my friend received was embarrassing! I went by the photo on their website. I wish I saw these reviews before I ordered. The cost was a few dollars short of $90.00 . I think tomorrow I will call them like the one girl did and demand a new arrangement or a refund.

Beware of giving a credit card to this so-called florist! Item pictured and ordered at premium level wasn’t anything like what was delivered. It was an embarrassment. I called, was put on hold while they supposedly checked, and was dumped 3 times. I finally said I was giving opportunity for them to reverse the charges or I would dispute the charges. Finally, they said charges were reversed. It’s too early to verify, but meanwhile they have our credit info. Do not do business with Terrys Florists in Cromwell, CT!

– Disappointing Product and Poor Customer Service I am extremely disappointed with my experience with Terry’s Florist. The product description clearly stated that the arrangement would come in a hot pink vase with a pink ribbon. However, the flowers that were delivered came in a clear vase with no ribbon at all. Furthermore, the flowers looked nothing like the picture advertised on the website. I understand that flowers may vary slightly, but what I received was completely different from what was promised. The vase color, the missing ribbon, and the overall appearance of the arrangement did not match the product description or the advertised photo. What makes this experience even more frustrating is that I gave the company an opportunity to resolve the issue. I contacted customer service, and they told me they would file a claim. However, it has now been 8 days, and I still have not received any update or resolution. I paid for a product based on what was advertised, and I believe customers deserve to receive what they pay for. If a company cannot deliver what is shown on its website, it should at least provide good customer service and follow through when a complaint is made. I am posting photos of what was advertised and what I actually received so other customers can see the difference for themselves. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this florist. I hope the company takes customer complaints more seriously and improves both its product quality and customer service.

I order flowers and a box of choclates for my wife, for our wedding anniversary. They claimed to have delivered them yet she never received them. I wish I had read these reviews earlier. PLEASE DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. I will also file a report with the BBB and local government

Placed the order the day before. Called at 1pm to check on the status of the delivery. They said they tried to contact the delivery person but he must be out. Said they would email me the status. I called back at 6pm to check the status. Was told they deliver between 9am and 7pm and they only know the delivery is out and that they are monitoring it. Well, it's past 7pm, no delivery and no communication. Now they say it was delivered, but it wasn't. I requested to cancel the order and they said they couldn't, but would do an investigation after not communicating with me all day and not being able to contact the delivery driver. Update - Magically the flowers appeared following day.

I wish I would have read these reviews before ordering from Terry’s Florist. What they show on the website is not what they deliver. Pricing is also misleading.

I selected an arrangement shown on Terry’s Florist website which was beautiful! I requested the florist to send a photo of the arrangement before it was delivered, but they didn’t. The recipient sent a photo of the arrangement that was delivered which had sparse flowers with lots of greenery filler and looked NOTHING like the arrangement that I ordered and paid for! I contacted the company and filed a complaint with a photo as requested and they said the arrangement was filled to value based on their company’s substitution policy. DO NOT use this company!!!

DO NOT BUY FROM TERRY’S FLORIST! I ordered flowers for my mother-in-law’s birthday (who is terminally ill) and I paid $20 extra to make it deluxe. After spending nearly $100, including a $20 handling fee, I felt that the flowers that would show up would be gorgeous. My MIL sent me a picture to say thank you the next day and I was so embarrassed. There were probably 6 actual flowers in the bouquet, the rest being greenery. They did stick a tacky plastic crown on it though (definitely worth the extra $20…NOT). When I reached out and provided a photo, they said, “ We have reviewed this picture and we’ve determined that this order is filled to value based on our substitution policy. Our substitution policy states that all items such as flowers, containers, color schemes, or plants are subject to availability.” So, apparently they are cool with charging $100 for what you could buy in a grocery store for $15, tops. Please, do research on them first and stay away!!!!
