Terry Carter Music StoreReviews of terrycartermusicstore.com

Terry Carter Music Store has been helping musicians find the right instrument for over 30 years. Founded by Terry Carter, a professional musician and music educator, the store grew out of a simple belief: people play better, and stick with it longer, when they start on an instrument that's actually set up right for them.We specialize in ukuleles, guitars, guitarleles, baritone ukuleles, mandolins, banjos, strings, and pro audio gear. We carry trusted brands including KoAloha, Kanile'a, Kala, Ohana, Flight, Pono, Kamaka, and many more, alongside our own house brand, Vosta, built to give players a high-quality option at a fair price point. What sets us apart is expertise, not just inventory. Terry personally brings three decades of playing and teaching experience to product selection, setup, and customer support. When you ask a question about action, intonation, tone woods, or which instrument actually fits your playing style and skill level, you're getting an answer from someone who has spent a lifetime on stage and in the classroom, not a generic sales script read off a spec sheet. That same teaching background shapes how we describe every product on the site and how our team talks to customers before and after the sale.We work with beginners buying their first ukulele, parents outfitting a young player, and working professionals upgrading their touring rig. Every instrument we sell is inspected and set up with players in mind, and our repair shop handles setup, adjustments, and service for instruments purchased with us and beyond. We offer free shipping on qualifying orders, multiple payment options at checkout, and a support team that actually plays the instruments we sell. Whether it's your first ukulele or your tenth guitar, our goal is the same every time: get you playing, and get you playing well — and keep you playing for years to come.
