Blocked me for an honest mistake I've owned up for.
I had an unfortunate and surprising incident with Terror Threads recently. I visited their website on my PC to look for a new tee or two to order and the prices were showing $1000+ for most of the shirts. As I was used to them charging around $25-35, I was taken aback by what initially appeared to be a huge increase. I was not connected to a VPN, so I believed the pricing to be legitimate. I respectfully commented on one of their Facebook posts asking what was up with the new pricing. I never received a reply. A couple of days later, I returned to their website, this time on my mobile phone. I noticed that the pricing looked normal again, and what I was expecting to see originally. Then it occurred to me that it might have been a browser anomaly on my PC that caused the pricing to appear the way it did before. It was an honest mistake on my part. So, I figured I'd go back to their Facebook post and update my comment by apologising and clarifying that the issue appeared to be with my browser (it was the right thing to do), but I noticed I couldn't find their page anymore to do so. They'd blocked me! So I decided to email them and apologise for my mistake with the pricing, and to express my intent to update my comment on Facebook, as well as to express my disappointment that they blocked me, a customer of theirs who has happily bought shirts from them before, just because I asked about the pricing. Guess what? They couldn't even bother to respond to my email. If they are bitter about my Facebook question, even after I emailed them to apologise, I am truly disappointed. I feel this could easily have been resolved; the sensible thing, in my mind, would have been for them to simply reply to my Facebook comment and correct me. I'd have checked again and acknowledged my error there. No harm done. Or they could have taken the time to read my email and respond, acknowledging that human error occurred, that there was no ill intent and it could easily have been water under the bridge, repairing the business-customer relationship. I want to clarify that I never had issues with them prior, and was always happy with my shirts. This rating is just based on my recent experience, and I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else.
