I have been with Terra’s kitchen for about three to four weeks. In that time I have had a few difficulties. I’m vegetarian, I received bacon. We are 4 people, but we have to get two dinners for each meal because they are only set up for two - so we have to double all recipes. I get two recipe cards for each meal - which is a waste of resources.

We have enjoyed the meals but there has been missing items from meals

The food options are getting much better and the ingredients already being chopped is a great help for a working/traveling mom. I've found myself very frustrated with the ordering system that allows you to "skip" meals for many weeks in advance (planning is important when traveling) but each week I find the system has reset and I have to remember to go back in and skip if necessary. I've had food ship before that I did not order. Overall the food is good and hopefully the computer system will stop getting in the way of me being confident about the ordering/delivery program used.

I love this service for the most part. The major thing I love is the shipping container. I live in the desert and this is by far had superior shipping cost compared to other services. What I don’t like about it: 1. If you don’t make the deadline for ordering I have received random and duplicate meals. Meals I may have just ordered and the last time was really irritating because they sent me smoothies without all of the ingredient include the protein powder. 2. I don’t like all of my produce cut, specifically onions of any kind. Onions develop bacteria quickly when they are cut. The broccoli and cauliflower smell is almost unbearable and makes the whole house stinky. 3. The more expensive cuts of red meat are not worth the price due to tendons and not the best cuts of meat.

I am happy with the food and delivery. They now require 100 purchase to qualify for free shipping which was not previously the case. Being the only one to eat Terra's Kitchen, $100 per week is too much food and more expensive than taking the time to grocery shop myself. Was happier before this change and found it a reasonable option. It would be good for families or couples interested in eating the meals more than a few times per week.

Our experience started off great, however, over time we began to see a decline in the quality of food. The menu has fewer new and exciting vegetarian/pescatarian options and as a result we have opted to skip a few weeks in the hopes of new menu items. For now, we will continue to skip weeks or cancel all together. It's a shame because the convenience is great, but not worth the price at this time.

Good but starting to get expensive. Delivery used to be free and now there is a fee for delivery and the prices went up on their selections.

Initially I really liked TK (and to be fair I am still using them so they haven't driven me away). So why am I only giving three stars? Two things are pushing me away from this service and have me looking to test out other services. 1) Delivery dates. This is a big one for me. They only have a couple options in my area and they are close to or on the weekend. I tend to go out on weekends or if I am home I have time to prep a meal I shop for myself. So getting my food Thursday is not ideal. (and this leads in to my second issue). 2) The freshness of the food items seems to have declined over the time I've been using the service. I look at this as a means to buy three meals to spread throughout the week. However if I wait four or five days to cook one of the meals the produce is often no longer appealing. Whereas if I personally went to the store and selected the same type of produce it would still be fresh that many days later. On the plus side the recipes I've tried have been very good, the reusable deliver container is nice and seems to work well. They do have a decent selection of recipes.
