If I could give them a negative star I would. My elderly parents have been having a problem with raccoons in their attic for a few months and this is how they responsive they are to live animals being trapped in a live trap they set!!!! They have caught three raccoons. First one they removed, second one we had to send a family friend to rescue it before it died and the third one their lack of responsiveness killed the baby raccoon. I'm beside myself at this point and for the life of me cannot understand the inhumane way they " lclear attics" which by the way consists of only trapping and not preventing them from coming in entry point.

Have had tech show up and sit in the car and never get out while he checked off that he did the job. Today I have a video on my Ring cam of the tech looking around and proceeds to urinate on my property! WITH MY RING CAMERA in front of him! I’m not certain what service I’m paying for? Not worth the money and very poor quality techs!

I hired Terminix to get rid of ants inside my kitchen, the agreement was for one year, one visit every 3 months. First visit was fine, but after first visit their technician would show up unannounced or would call when he was in front of the house, if I wasn’t home they would say they treated the exterior and that was it. After 4 quarters of very unsatisfactory service I was happy the contract was over and done with. However, while I was on a business trip I got an email from their technician that he was at my house and he treated the exterior since nobody was home. When I informed them that I only had an agreement for 12 months they said I should have called to cancel. Apparently 12 month agreement will continue indefinitely unless you canceled it. Sad to see a company of this size has to use unfair practices to get one more quarterly fee out of you. Not only I will never use them again, I will make sure everyone knows about their unfair practices. I have also reached out to District of Columbia Better Business Bureau to file a complaint.

We wanted to reschedule our service and my wife called and cancelled the scheduled service date and confirmed the service as cancelled for the selected date. The tech still came and since we weren't available ended up just doing the outside and billed us for the full service even though we neither approved the service time and date nor did the tech do that much work (our security cameras showed he just 'lightly dusted' around a couple areas which wasn't at all worth the nearly $100 we paid for the service call. I could have done the same exact thing with probably about $20 worth of insectiside.

I had to choose 1 star, however the company needs a negative -10 rating due to the lies the sales person told me about the service they would provided. If anyone has pest problems you should call someone other than Terminix. They are quick to charge for services without doing what they say. By the time I could get back into my home my card was charged and when I called the salesman about services he gave me more lies. DON'T USE THIS COMPANY FOR ANYTHING UNLESS YOU WANT TO GIVE YOUR MONEY AWAY.

Of I could give 0 stars or even a negative I would! Horrible scheduling, show up unannounced multiple times even after calling the office multiple times. Always schedule appointments without the homeowners knowledge. Horrible customer service. In my opinion find a mom and pop service company to help with your pest needs. This company is not worth your time and frustration

Well here we go. Had a slummy looking sales guy come out from Terminix and told me we had termites. He showed me a couple spots that were supposed termite "hot spots". He sold me a package of service care and told me that if I wasn't happy with the service provided that I could get a refund with no cancelation fee (all lies). He handed me a tablet with a signature line and did not go over any details with me other than treatment for termites and amount. Then I had a friend come into town that owns a pest control company. My friend said that the spots the Slum Lord Terminix guy showed me had 0 termite signs. My friend also looked at my property and said there is 0 proof of termites. I called to cancel my service agreement because the service was not needed. The manager Kevin, then told me sorry but there is nothing anyone can do and I am just screwed and have to ride the service agreement out. So here we are. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE. THEY WILL LIE TO YOUR FACE AND THEN TELL YOU TO DEAL WITH IT. These people are on a whole different level of scam artists. The funny part is, I don't want my money back! I just want to be done paying a monthly premium for a service that has no value to me. Kevin I hope that the $500 I will pay you over the next 9 months for 0 product is worth a bad review on every social media. Save your time and money and call a different pest control company, these people are scam artists.

Completely unreliable! Booked through HomeServe. Failed to attend, despite giving reassurance. Managed to get someone to attend the following day, and an arrangement was made for follow up in a week. Once again didn’t turn up! HomeServe contacted company, again informed they’d definitely attend, but due to workload, would be late. Still no show! Absolutely diabolical service. HomeServe seriously need to review their contract with this unreliable company!
