Horrible experience with this company. Had an ant infestation. Paid a large upfront cost. They sent a guy to deal with it, said they'd send another back to check the infestation later. To deal with it, we were forced to sign a contract that had hidden monthly fees, hidden treatment plan. And they never sent someone back to check on the infestation like they said. Can't cancel the service over phone. What a joke.

Awful company. Unethical, corrupt, and fraudulent. I had service with them and was due for 2 visits. I was waiting and monitoring where the technician was in both instances. The technician was shown in a town 20 minutes from me and they never moved. Spontaneously out of nowhere the appointment closed as complete in both occasions and some report was generated of no findings. I work from home and I was waiting, they never did the work. So, I called and canceled the service. Today I get a message a year later that a new payment is processed. I go online and I’m being charged $374 for the same service I canceled. I can’t cancel other than calling. When I call the person says she can ‘request’ to cancel but no guarantee my account will be refunded and that 2 other people will be calling me including a retention person to convince me to stay. I can’t cancel my auto billing, I can’t cancel payment, I can’t remove my credit card off their site, and they make cancellation so difficult that it’s a 3 person process. DO NOT go into service with them. The data speaks to itself.

I'm having a problem with rats or some other animal on my roof or in my attic. I went to a website called Terminix Wildlife control. The website says "Need wildlife removal? - Terminix helps solve the problem with invasive animals by identifying entry points, removing the intruders and ensuring they can't return." They sent out someone to perform an inspection. I pointed out the rat droppings in the closet where my HVAC is housed. I pointed out how the traps I put on my roof catch rats on a regular basis. I pointed out how I've rat infestations in the past. I played an audio recording of the knocking/banging sounds I hear in my attic at night. After a couple of minutes looking in my attic and walking around the property, he declared "I don't see anything I can help you with" and he left. What a waste of time. At least there was no cost for inspection, which is what it was worth. I certainly will cross them off my list of companies to ever do business with.

I am very disappointed with my experience due to the lack of communication and the conflicting information provided by the inspector, technician, and office. The inspector, Troy Johnson, came to my home and assessed the situation. He explained the plan he recommended and told me that the $249 plan would address both the rodent issue and the bat in my carport. Based on his explanation and recommendation, I purchased the plan, and an appointment was scheduled for the following day. Before the appointment, the technician, Canyon Holderman, contacted me by text and asked what type of animals needed to be treated so he could come prepared. I provided him with the information, sent pictures, and called to make sure he received everything. I explained that the inspector had identified the animal in my carport as a bat and told me that it could be treated using coyote urine. During a phone conversation before the appointment, the technician informed me that the $249 plan I purchased did not cover bat repellents and that addressing the bat issue would require a separate plan or contract. He also mentioned an **exclusion package** that could address the bat issue. To my surprise, the inspector never mentioned this package or explained that a separate service might be required. This was extremely frustrating because I purchased the $249 plan specifically based on the inspector's recommendation and understanding that it would address the issues I discussed during the inspection. At no point did the inspector explain that bat treatment might require an additional plan or cost. The technician was polite, but I also felt that the service was rushed and not as thorough as I expected. Some cobwebs were missed, and the overall service felt inconsistent and somewhat hit-or-miss. For $249 up front, I expected a more detailed and thorough treatment. According to my Ring doorbell, the technician arrived at approximately 11:29 a.m. and left around 12:30 p.m. However, the work order I later received via email showed service from 11:29 a.m. to 1:29 p.m., which raised questions for me. Another major issue was the difficulty communicating with anyone. I attempted to contact the inspector on the day of my appointment to understand why the information I was given about the bat treatment was different from what the technician told me. He did not answer my call or return my message. I then contacted Terminix, and it took nearly an hour for customer service to locate information about my job because there was apparently no paperwork in the system. The inspector had also provided me with his manager Scott's phone number, and I called and left him a message as well. I was also surprised that neither the inspector nor the technician wore shoe covers when entering my home. I believe service professionals entering customers' homes should take basic precautions to help keep the home clean. Overall, my experience was frustrating because I received conflicting information and purchased a plan based on the inspector's recommendation, only to later learn that the specific issue I needed help with was apparently not covered. There appears to be a serious lack of communication between the inspector, technician, and office. For the amount I paid, I expected clear and accurate information upfront, better coordination between employees, and more thorough service.

Nobody showed up as scheduled the first time. When I called to reschedule, they told me it was rescheduled to that day (without telling) me so I raced home from work. I sat home for 4 hours and nobody came, again. I then got a text from the tech (finally) that said he was coming tomorrow (with no time). I tried to call the number in the text the tech said I could call, and his mailbox was full. He texted back a time finally and we will see if he shows up tomorrow. No accountability from anyone at this company. It seems like it might be routine that they get these complaints.

Terrible customer service we canceled our service and they still charge our account we had to even call our bank and cancel the card because terminex keeps charging us and even after this they send u a letter saying the card on file is not working and this may go to collection if not settled so I do not recommend there services

Terminix inspector was supposed to be at my home between 1030 and 1100. Inspector never showed up or called. I called the office because I work 12 hour night shifts and woke up in between my sleep times for the appointment. The inspector cancelled and never notified me. The office said they do not treat for dust mites although the website says they do. I told the office that I don’t know what insect I need treatment for because I am not an entomologist. I needed the inspection to identify the issue. I told them what I didn’t think the issue was (bed bugs, roaches, etc.) as I had never seen the more common household insects in northwest Ohio in my home. I will never do business with this company and plan to reach out to a local pest company instead of franchised big business. Save your time and money by passing on this company.
