"Extremely Disappointing Experience with Terminix" I had a terrible experience with Terminix, starting with their customer service, which was absolutely horrible. I signed up for what they claim to be their top-of-the-line corrective service for my 620 sq ft apartment, and the cost was a whopping $1279.57. The plan comes with a 90-day warranty, which means if the pests aren't fully eradicated by then, I'm expected to pay another $1279.57 for another treatment. To make matters worse, when you read the fine print, you're also paying for the product used to kill the pests on top of that. And don’t even try getting in touch with their service department. Their system is chaotic, and it's nearly impossible to get the help you need. Be wary of all the hidden fees and unnecessary charges. This company is not worth your time or money. 90 day warranty on a issue that can take 180 to correct. make it make sense

So far, my experience with Terminix has not been very good. When you call in the people are nice. When the so-called inspector comes out, he does not inspect everything, and I did as him to and he said the agent that comes for the next appointment will go into the attic and I believed him, that did not happen, the second guy that came sealed a couple spots outside and I had to ask him to complete the outside and I asked him why didn't he go into the attic, he said he did not bring enough equipment to do the attic and the other seals weren't needed. At this point I was just ready for him to leave. I had to call again to get someone to come out and I was told they would call and give me an appointment, no one called I called them several times and found out I was scheduled for an appointment, no one called to confirm it or see if I was available that day. Terminix seem to be okay taking money but not assisting a customer properly. They can't bother to make sure the customer is being taken care of, but they have no problem taking the money. I should have gone with a mom-and-pop company and maybe I would get better service. Terminix management sure doesn't care. 3/24/25, 3/26/25 and new appointment today 4/2/25 lets see what happens

I initially gave Terminix a good review, but since then I have reasons to change it. I saw a few ants on my kitchen counter so I texted Terminix. When they came out, I was told I needed pest control, termite control and new attic insulation. I signed a written contract on April 1 and gave them $3,514.67 down on a charge of $16,020.00 then on April 3 someone was out here putting in "bait traps" without allowing me the 3 days to cancel as the written contract stated. (After thinking and discussing their high price, I would have.) I also got an emailed contract TOTALLY different from the paper one, charging me more money. I was told their system wasn't set up to handle the contract I had been given. I even got 3 letters saying I owe them more money. Each time I called , I was told something different. When I looked in my attic, they had blown insulation all over my Christmas decorations, even burying some of them. I didn't think, and they never asked about removing them first. Each time my furnace blows air through the vents, insulation particles fall in every room. I am constantly vacuuming. I think Terminix has taken advantage of me as an elderly person living alone. Always get a second estimate before you decide or sign anything.

I think Terminix Canada is okay. I have hired someone to solve cockroaches problem in 2nd times as fail tom solve it. They offer me to pay another one. Forget it. I will not hire someone from Terminix again. I am not impressed with Terminix. I assumed that Technician did not do much on spray on cockroaches. I have called there in several times as no luck. I suggest not to use Terminix.

I regret hiring this company. After paying a lot of money for the exclusion service and the additional yearly service fee, they have not shown up for multiple scheduled (and confirmed) appointments. The guys who do the work are great. The scheduling seems to be the problem. One side of the company does not communicate to the other. It seems a corporate office schedules appointments and confirms them, but they do not get that information to the field offices (who actually do the work) and so no one shows up for the confirmed appointments. Multiple times appointments have been set and confirmed (I have the confirmation texts)...yet no one shows. I have lost several hours of work time being home for the (no-show) confirmed appointments, and time lost being on the phone trying to fix the problem (multiple times). It would be nice if Terminix would compensate me for lost work time...but I won't hold my breath.

Well my first week with them I wasn't too impressed with the guy that came to spray my house we got roaches galore I just saw a rat today so I'm supposed to have this house inspected tomorrow so they can figure out where the ropes roaches and the rats are coming in at any rate I'm trying to get them to come next week cuz I'm supposed to have them come back and spray the house again hopefully this time they'll do better granted when the first guy came we had all the crap in the house we had to clear it out so that it shouldn't be that hard but it didn't seem like he sprayed that good he's supposed to get inside the house the attic and outside and he only did just the inside and it smelled mainly in the kitchen the rest of the house didn't smell like it because I had to take everyone to the motel cuz my roommate has asthma and I got three cats and I didn't want them getting sick so now I'm trying to get ahold of them so they can reschedule for next week I wanted them to come Thursday but they messaged me earlier today and said they couldn't I was at work so I called after I got off of work hopefully they'll come Friday this house needs to be redone and done right

The initial inspection went well and put my mind at ease. Had more swarmers show up about a year later and wanted to make sure it wasn't a sign of reinfestation (after paying them a lot of money). I've tried to get them out twice now and have been ghosted both times. They didn't even bother letting me know the appointments were cancelled and/or rescheduled. I had to go online and inquire. I can't say the service doesn't work, and I can't say that that the inspector and the technician weren't professional and polite (as they both were), but taking time off to be available for an appointment then being ghosted twice in 1 week really has left a bad taste in my mouth. This is very unprofessional considering for Termite services it cost me something like $740 up front and $139 a month for the first year just to be covered by them. That's almost $2,500 in the first year. I expect better service for that kind of cash.

I have paid a lot of money to Terminix. $188.00 every 3 months for pest control and $59.00 every month for mosquito control. The mosquitos are eating us alive, even the same day the yard was sprayed. And I have to keep scorpion tape (it's sticky tape that traps bugs) on all my thresholds just to keep the bugs from getting in the house. Their spray is just not effective. The only reason I even gave 2 stars is because Randy is the nicest person and always arrives when he says he will. Now for the infuriating part... when I first signed with Terminix, they convinced me I needed a termite inspection. The pest control guy and the guy to spray mosquitoes both showed up that day and the termite guy was supposed to be there too. He didn't show up. I rescheduled and waited on the second guy and he didn't show up and didn't call. I rescheduled again and same thing, no show and no call. Then it happened a 4th time. And every time was a huge inconvenience. I rushed home from work and waited around forever each time. I was so mad I called their customer service and was on hold 20 minutes, then on there forever with them for 45 minutes. I was like how can they stand me up 4 times in a row??? She promised me it wouldn't happen again. Guess what. It happened the 5th time. I called them and told them I was going to cancel if they didn't get someone out here. They did that time and the guy kept apologizing for the other morons. But I still am going to cancel. There is no reduction in insects. They are all so healthy and happy until they get stuck in the sticky tape as they are trying to crawl into my house. UGH
