If I could give zero stars I would. My Husband and I had a bee problem this summer in multiple places on the outside of our home and ground bees outside and they never once solved any of the issues. There were places they never even addressed. Concerning the ground bees, they just sprayed on top of the ground and of course we still had ground bees. Trying to cancel them has been an absolute nightmare you sign a contract and you owe them the full $500 whether they’ve done what they’ve said or not or completed the service or not do not sign up with this company. No one calls you back they transfer you 4 to 5 times to try to cancel and then tell you you can’t. I have never worked with such a predatory, lousy company before.

I have been a Terminix customer for a long time, but my recent experience with the Glen Burnie/Laurel service has been extremely disappointing. I request pest control for a mice/rodent problem, but they sent a termite technician instead. repeatedly called customer service and was told a manager would contact me, but no one follow up. I also spoke with Christian, a Laurel Maryland Branch Manager and found his response dismissive and unprofessional. What is most upsetting is that Terminix charged me approximately $1,381.00 even though the rodent service I requested was not properly provided. I expected much better customer service, communication and accountability from Terminix. Based on this experience, I would not recommend this location. Customers should carefully review the services and charged before agreeing to anything.

I NEEDED A TERMITE INSPECTION FOR A HOME PURCHASE AND THE LADY ON THE PHONE SAID NO CHARGE AND IT WAS INCLUDED IN MY CONTRACT. WHEN THE INSPECTOR SHOWS UP HE SAYS I OWE HIM $300+! I COULD HAVE SHOPPED AND GOTTEN IT DONE CHEAPER. I'M DONE WITH THIS BUNCH.

***CONSUMER BEWARE*** Terminex does not have any consideration for their customers nor their time nor feel like they have any responsibility or accountability for their incompetence. From my experience, they will schedule an appointment and the day of the appointment their technician will contact you and let you know that they were overbooked for the day and will reschedule for the next day only for them to not show up. There seems to be no communication between their customers service, scheduling and technician teams. Do not let them waster your time like they did mine.

I scheduled a free termite inspection with Terminix for my 1,800 sq ft single-story home in Palm Springs. What followed was a masterclass in high-pressure sales tactics, intentional confusion, and technical misinformation. The inspector started off by telling me it would cost $540.88 to treat my active subterranean termite infestation. I thought, great, that's reasonable. But then the trap snapped shut. He immediately piled on a confusing web of multi-contract bundles and add-ons that rocketed the total upfront quote to roughly $8,900. When I pushed back and told him the price was way too high, he offered a pathetic, insulting $100 discount to bring it down to $8,882.37.The quote was a complete rip-off filled with technical contradictions that he couldn't explain: The Monthly Fee Trap: On top of the massive upfront costs, he tried to slide in a $155.59 monthly fee ($1,867 a year). I pressed him hard, why I was being charged monthly when he admitted they only come out 4 to 6 times a year. When you break down that math, it means I would be paying an outrageous $311 to $466 per visit just to check plastic traps! When he couldn't justify that, he scrambled and used a "precautionary scorpion spray" as an excuse. The Attic & Insulation Scam: He wanted to charge me $5,330 of that total to completely rip out my custom, high-performance spray foam insulation (which keeps my house cool in 115-degree desert heat) and replace it with roll-in fiberglass batts. To justify it, he claimed he needed to spray liquid chemicals in my attic "as a precaution"—even though subterranean termites live in the ground and cannot survive in a dry attic. When I questioned the cheapness of the material during our talk, he verbally threw out a random R-value and admitted it was the bare minimum required to clear code. Sure enough, when the actual report hit my email later that day, it was listed as R-38 insulation. He was trying to charge me a premium price to downgrade my home to a code-minimum setup. When I told him my brain was shutting down from the confusion and that I was going to get competitive bids, he finally stopped. If you use Terminix, please do your homework, ask sharp questions, and do not let them scare you into an outrageous contract on the spot. I am happily taking my business to an honest, highly rated local independent company instead.

i would give zero stars if it was an option. i had to stick with terminex for a year. there was NEVR a good experience. techs did not complete services and just left. bulling was always messed up and over charging. and customer service was THE WORST i’ve ever dealt with. terminex is the pinnacle of bad business. go anywhere else. and if u sign with terminex don’t say you weren’t warned.

I’m writing this review to warn others about my experience with Terminix and the representative who sold me my contract. When I signed up for service, the Terminix representative, Joshua Hosseinzadeh, told me directly that I could cancel after 3–4 months with no cancellation fee. He said this was “not something they tell customers,” but he was telling me personally. I trusted him and signed the contract based on his word. I’m an honorable person, and I expected the same honesty from the person representing Terminix. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the case. I even called Terminix customer care shortly after signing because Joshua told me he was going to add something to my contract, but when I checked, nothing was added. Customer care said they would have him call me, and when he did, he told me again not to worry and that “this is how it’s done.” I should have insisted on having everything in writing, but I trusted him — and that trust was taken advantage of. Today, I was laid off from my job at Oracle due to corporate AI restructuring. I had every intention of keeping this service long‑term and renewing it at the beginning of the new year. The only reason I canceled was because I can no longer afford it. When I called Terminix to cancel, I was shocked to learn that I supposedly owe around $800, despite the representative’s repeated assurances that there would be no cancellation fee after a few months. This was never disclosed honestly, and I was misled into signing a contract under false pretenses. I’m extremely disappointed in the sales practices used and the lack of integrity shown. Customers deserve transparency, not misleading verbal promises that disappear once the contract is signed. I hope Terminix addresses this issue and improves their training and oversight. No customer should have to go through this.
