I was linked with a tutor: Lawrence.
I was linked with a tutor, he claimed that we Would have no issues setting up the VNC software so that he could take my test as I sat in front of the screen. The next day (day of my test) we attempted to get the software onto my computer, which took about an hour, to no success. After the struggle with the software I decided that it was too much of a hassle to which my tutor recommended the WhatsApp method, I send him pictures of my test questions and he sends answers back, mind you this was a proctored test so it was risky. I was nervous but began sending him the questions at the beginning of my algebra test and each question took about 10 minutes for him to answer, I was getting irritated as this was also a timed test. After he answered about four questions, and I was down to 30 minutes on my test with 14 questions left to answer, I decided to tell him that I no longer wanted the service as I knew there was no possible way that he was able to get me the answers in time at the rate he was moving. He then texted me during my test asking how the payment would work and I said that I don’t believe it would be more than $50 worth of work that he put in for me, I also failed the test, mind you. He texted me the next day, called, and sent an invoice to my PayPal for $50. I messaged customer service in attempt to work out a lower payment as I didn’t believe that his work was worth $50, no answer back (my tutor suggested it was because I was being annoying and texting too much, but is that not what customer service is for, to answer customer questions?). My tutor called me and continued to tell me to “kindly pay the invoice” to which I asked what he felt he deserved $50 for… he basically blamed the fact that the software didn’t work on me and my computer, and told me that I was sending the questions to quick and that’s what took him so long to answer, by the way this is the same man that told me to send him all the questions at the same time if possible. This website is definitely not all it says it is, BEWARE! Something about it is just sketchy in general tbh. Anyways I sent the $50 because I didn’t want them to hack into my computer as the software that he made me download, which again… didn’t work, was nearly impossible to delete from my computer and I wasn’t sure if they were able to find out my personal information. Be careful and be vigilant!
