I am loving the Koala Go platform. I am still learning how to properly use it, though. I love that it is being improved and updated all the time

I’ve been using Koala Go for seven months, and I love pretty much everything about it! It’s easy to use, and my students get the hang of it really quickly. The playground is a particular favourite—both for me and my students! It makes our lessons so much fun and gives me lots of opportunities to get creative with my teaching. It’s a wonderful way to make learning engaging for younger students. I also love the invoicing system. It’s straightforward, keeps everything in one place, and makes managing payments so convenient, especially when teaching international students. Another great part about it is the tech support - they're extremely helpful, pleasant and efficient. There are a couple of areas where I’d love to see small improvements. The whiteboard tools could flow a little better and require fewer clicks. For example, when adding separate pieces of text, you have to select the text tool again each time. It would be much smoother if it stayed selected so you could simply click elsewhere and continue typing. The playground building tools can also be a little awkward for children. Positioning the blocks accurately can be tricky, which makes building quite a slow process. Overall, though, I’m really happy with Koala Go. It brings so much creativity and enjoyment to my lessons, and I have no plans to switch!

Koala Go is an absolutely phenomenal program, but even better, it is a phenomenal company. The program has 3 components that make it outstanding for teaching in--1) an interactive whiteboard that I can prepare ahead of time with slides for presenting material. The student and I each have control of the board at the same time. (No more sharing control with my student and fighting over the mouse!) 2) an interactive co-browser where I can share Internet sites and also have Koala Go drawing tools that overlay the content, allowing me to add clarification and direct them to key points (and again, we each have our own mouse pointer) and 3) an amazing 3D virtual learning world that provides so much engagement for the learner. Koala Go is an amazing company because it has thought of everything a teacher needs to fuel student creativity and joy in learning while managing any potential behaviors. Teachers can control the tool access that students have, and they can also use a focus mode that brings a student's attention to the material if they are wandering around the 3D world a little too much or if they just need the material to be zoomed in size. Most importantly, the Koala Go team is on call 24/7 with team members stationed around the world for continual service. No matter where you are, there's always someone available to hop on with you and troubleshoot. Note that I do not need to use this amazing, top quality tech service very often, but when I do, I am so grateful they have LIVE humans who immediately respond to you, not bots! There is no "waiting to connect you to an agent" and wasting 10 minutes of your life. The service is immediately available, and a warm, lovely, friendly human is available to help you. :) Finally (promise), the Koala Go team is always taking suggestions, and they have incorporated many teacher recommendations for improving this already wonderful product. No, I am not a paid sponsor or advertiser. I am a dyslexia tutor, and I have seen first-hand how much this program helps reduce the anxiety my students might have otherwise had around reading tutoring (an area of weakness). They love coming to class, and I am so grateful for the work Koala has done to make teaching and learning a joy in their program. Far from getting paid to say that, I'm happily paying them! Take all my money!! LOL!

So happy I was told about Koala Go! It is perfect for teaching children online. I have been using Koala Go for 4 years. No other program has Koala Go's interactive tools. Being able to have students write, type, and move objects on the screen is extremely valuable when teaching an Orton-Gillingham reading lesson. Another plus is having everything saved within the program and easily accessible during the lesson. This helps keep the lesson streamlined and time-efficient.

Love the engagement it offers the students I tutor and make online tutoring so easy for all!

I went from struggling to keep my students attention during their online dyslexia therapy to having my students completely engaged and having a great time. Zoom and Meet are for adults. Koala Go is for kids (and adults who like to enjoy learning).
