Taurus sent me the wrong lower capacity magazines and then refused to exchange them for the magazines that I ordered and paid for. Taurus has the absolute worst customer service of any firearms company. Do not do business with this company, they are criminals who will steal your money!

Wow. Just when I thought they couldn't get worse. One, now they ship Parcel Post instead of even Ground Advantage and charge first rate fees. That's one issue. In May I ordered a replacement slide to replace a broken TX22 slide. They immediately charged my card and then sent merchandise. Tbey sent the WRONG merchandise, something for which I have no use for. I immediately notified them of their error. So...Taurus got back to me and said "ship back our stuff and once we get it, we'll send you what you paid for." Then they offered up a FedEx label for which to do so...my nearest Fedex office is 35 miles away. So. Their manufactured part broke. I paid for a new one. They sent me the wrong item and it arrived WEEKS after I paid. Now they expect me to drive cross-country (I live in rural Alaska) in order to ship THEIR error back and then I'm supposed to trust them one more time to eventually receive what I ordered.

Taurus firearms are Ok. Maybe a good gun to have camping or a truck gun. If it got lost or stolen, no big deal or loss. My issue with Taurus is their customer service and warranty. Sent in my G2s .40 because my mags kept falling out of the gun. You could literally pull the mag out without pressing the mag release. Sent the gun in for repair. They sent me an email saying the issue was that I had the wrong mags. I emailed them back and told them that’s the mags that came with the gun. And I’ve shot several rounds out of it with those same mags that you sent/boxed with the gun. Two days later I get another email saying my issue was Customer inflicted not covered by warranty. So I called them. I got a guy on the phone who’s first language was not English. Nor was it his second or third. He said they found a slight very small burr on the slide toward the back from obviously being dropped. I never dropped that gun, never. So I told him, ok even if I did drop the gun that’s got Nothing to do with the mags or mag spring release. He said, yea but the gun was dropped and that voids the warranty. BUT…they could put a new Used slide on for $85.00. It won’t be the shimmering/stainless/aluminum finish I have now, but the blued version. I told them to return my firearm and go screw someone else. They said “we will have to return it with an Unsafe Letter”. Meaning it was not safe to fire. I told them just send me my firearm. Once I got the firearm back, I took it to a gunsmith. He found no burr. Replaced the mag release spring. Gun works fine again. Took it and my 4 other Taurus handguns and sold/traded them for a S&W and a Glock .40 cal. And I will tell Anyone considering a Taurus to spend the extra few bucks and get something else.

Sent my Taurus G3c in for repair with three magazines. They sent it back with two magazines and not repaired. When confronted with the magazine count they stated, "The gunsmith noted only two magazines." The same gunsmith who did not fix the problem. I must send the firearm back again. Not trusting these clowns. I also, have a TX22 in for the guide rod damaging the slide. Beware, do not buy a Taurus firearm. Yes, they are still junk and their customer service does not exist. 09/20/23 I got the TX22 back and they replace the guide rod but did nothing with the damaged slide. I don't trust it and will not sell because that would just be wrong. My G3C came back and was not fixed so I sent it in a second time. I carefully explained the issues and how to replicate what was happening and even how to correct the issue. It is all over the internet. When it came back the second time they did replace my magazine they kept the first time. They shot my gun with brass ammunition and said it was good to go. It was not. I shot the gun with brass and it was still just barely out of battery between shots. They did not even try steel case which was even a bigger problem. Shared this with them before hand, Yes, all guns should be able to shoot any ammunition that is in spec. I solved the problem myself and the gun seems to be doing fine. Long story short their phone reps don't listen and have zero knowledge about firearms. Their gunsmiths are sloppy at best and they have all the tools at their disposal. If you are thinking about a Taurus firearm don't do it. You will spend any money you saved in ammunition trying to figure out what is wrong. It seems if you know what you are doing you can make their firearms work. Taurus does not know how to do that. December 26 I had to buy a new barrel from Lakeline and now my Taurus G3C works as it should. Sad that after two visits to Taurus with their lead gunsmith they could not or would not fix the gun. Tells you something about who they have working for them. As far as my TX22 there is chattering in the barrel grooves.....I must clean it every 100 rounds or so. They have neat guns but Taurus is a group of incompetent clowns.

Returned a gun to Bainsbridge, GA prior to the warranty. They couldn't repair it so they're sending a replacement however, their customer support is non existent. If you do happen to get communication from them, finally, they sporadically respond to your concerns or questions after they reach out. They've dragged mine on for weeks. To be honest w/ you, I highly doubt that I'll ever buy another product from Taurus. This entire experience would have been 5 stars but it's the contact from their support because there actually isn't any. I can't say that for other gun companies.
