Allow us to clarify that we never request screenshots from the bank statements of our users - we simply try to understand where the subscription was purchased (Google Play or the App Store, for example) so we can provide the respective cancelation instructions. When users delete their profiles before canceling their subscriptions, we're unable to locate the transactions directly, as all user information gets wiped from our servers. That is why we request some form of receipt or visual representation of the charge, but this never includes a full bank statement where any private information is visible or identifiable. The data privacy of our community is very important to us. It's also worth mentioning that all subscriptions are managed by an external intermediator, such as Google Play or the App Store. That is also why we require a bit of information from you in order to guide you in the right direction and help you cancel your subscription.
