bad experience , lag spikes all over the place and a lot of down time and problems

I bought a lifetime subscription on…
I bought a lifetime subscription on their old platform (octant.sh which link to sylant.net) and one week after I bought, they decid to close octant but they open a new service (sylant)

I'm sorry to hear this however please keep in mind that Octant did not offer any lifetime services. Additionally, any servers from Octant had been automatically migrated to Sylant after the rebrand.

Scam Summerhost
I'd like to say: POOR, to be honest, we partnered with their server, got absolutely scammed, and got butt-loads of excuses, instead of the original product to be honest.
Their asia partnership is a complete bust, and I think it is best to not use Sylant at all, they don't offer refunds if they DELIVER LATE! WOW!
Poor, and scam, summerhost.

Hi OnlyFuzz,
We appreciate your feedback, though we would like to clear up a few things that appear to be inaccurate in this review.
Your service was delivered slightly late due to some problems from an upstream provider. Once it was delivered we helped get everything setup and made sure it was all working. A few days later you reached out to our team to report some ping issues/increased latency some players were facing. We took a number of steps to diagnose the problem, and ultimately we tied it back to the ongoing Red Sea cable cuts that is causing delays in traffic through the Middle East and Asia - please keep in mind this issue was affecting everybody, not just Sylant, with other providers such as Microsoft Azure also facing the issues and posting about it.
Given we were ultimately unable to help in resolving the problem at the time (though did offer multiple temporary solutions), given the problem was not to do with something on our end and was out of our control, and out of anybodies control, you requested a refund. Unfortunately, as our terms state, and have always stated, refund requests made 72 hours after the service was delivered are made at our discretion. Please keep in mind that we DO offer refunds if a service is delivered late, however your refund was requested 72 hours after the service was in fact delivered.
We ultimately decided not to process the refund given the issue is not something on our end, we instead offered a generous extension of service at our cost, which you declined.
Due to the ongoing issues regarding the Red Sea cable cuts, we are not currently offering any services in Asia.
