Swift TransportationReviews of swifttrans.com

Swift follows a strategy to hire fresh trainees and profit from them. They hired me straight out of college and kept me for almost 2 years. They let me completely leave the industry. I never get pulled over. No accident, no ticket (Thank God); however, they want you to be frustrated (I would say, on purpose). My honest feedback is that no one cares about you. The office people use “we” and “they” to differentiate themselves from drivers. They are emotionally poor( is there any better word?), they do have their own favorite drivers( if you don't belong, better to go, their payment is inconsistent, they are racist( Jonestown, PA terminal is ridiculous)). If you have any chance, please don't step to their get. Run away!

Swift Logistics is totally a fraudulent company. They wanted to charge me $111.00 to insure a $300 item. Stupid dealing with them. I lost $300 from the seller due to the logistics company having the items and holding it ransom.

BUSINESS FRAUD!!! THIS COMPANY SENT ME A CONTRACT FOR $150 TO SHIP MY CAR- I SIGNED IT. THEY CHARGED ME A DEPOSIT. THEN THEYRE REFUSING TO DELIVER MY CAR UNLESS I PAY THEM ANOTHER $500!!! AND THEY SAID TO CANCEL & HAVE ANOTHER COMPANY DELIVER MY CAR THEY ARE CHARGING A $200 CANCELATION FEE WHICH IS MORE THAN MY SIGNED CONTACT. THIS IS A COMPLETE SCAM & FRAUD!!!! THEY ARE HOLDING ME HOSTAGE TRYING TO FORCE ME TO PAY A HIGHER FALSIFIED AMOUNT THAN WHAT MY SIGNED CONTRACT SAYS. CALLING THE POLICE & BETTER BUSINESS BUREAU TO REPORT THEM.

Got hired with the veteran exemption for the training. Understand that you must complete 1 year to be free of the payment obligation. Also you are supposed to be hire with a .55 cpm. I had to leave the company to address serious medical issues that appeared after 4 months on my own. The company said they understood adding that I would be able to return once my treatments were completed. Two days later Swift collections called advising that I had a $9000 debt to pay to them and payments begin in a few weeks. This debt will not decrease with tenure. You will not get the .55cpm and your most likely salary will be between $700 and $900 a week. If you have dependents for the insurance expect to pay nearly $1000 a month, and this will be deducted weekly.

I purchased a 12-foot ladder from Home Depot. Swift Transportation was the delivery company. Yes, I had to pay for the shipping. They delivered my ladder this morning. One side of the ladder was destroyed...bent metal support, broken rivets, and the aluminum steps bent. The delivery driver concealed the damage by laying the ladder on the ground with the damaged side down. Then he drove off instead of returning the ladder to Home Depot and letting them know that a replacement would be necessary. I got an email within a minute of the delivery and found the damaged ladder outside. I immediately called Home Depot, who in turn called Swift. Within 5 minutes of the delivery, they had Swift on the phone and asked them to pick up the ladder since they were only 5 minutes away. The delivery driver refused to come back to pick up the damaged item. This is a company with poor ethics...and I'm imagining that this is what they trained their employees to do. Otherwise, they would be taking responsibility for the shipping damages. Failure #1: damaging the item Failure #2: delivering the damaged item and concealing the damage Failure #3: refusing to come and pick the item up while they are still in the neighborhood. Delivery zip code: 53126
