DO NOT TRUST THEM. BUY AFLACK OR SOME OTHER COMANY's product I purchased SureBridge hospital supplemental coverage for my husband. I was told It was to pay per day for everyday if he was admitted to a hospital. He was admitted June 25, 2020 and released July 18, 2020. He had a stage 4 brain tumor, Gioblastoma, was in ICU, CCU, surgery to remove, PT and the released. He died September 11, 2020. I submitted the claim to SureBridge 10/13/2020, after I recieved the final itemized bill for ADVENT HOSPITAL. SureBridge responded it wasn't itemized enough. I sent them all the bills from AETNA medicare that describe in detail, including dates and codes of services. They said they needed more details. I called my HEALTH MARKET insurance agent DANIEL SMITH to please take care of this. After several phone calls to him, I was told I might need to hire an attorney, he was going to talk to someone above customer service rep at SureBridge. AS OF TODAY, April 26, 2021, I have not heard from SureBridge since they requested the additional information which I sent NOVEMBER 2, 2020.. OR Daniel Smith's Office with HEALTH MARKET

I am very disappointed in this company I signed up for dental insurance in 2020 and everything work for three or four months and then my dental office was not able to use my card when I contacted customer service I got no response time after time this past month I finally received a response and they told me my name was in the system wrong so that’s why the card wasn’t working but they went ahead and renewed it and kept taking money out of my account I’m not sure what had changed the information I originally signed up with is the only information I ever gave them now they’re saying they won’t credit my account and canceled my policy

I recently started receiving emails about a reoccurring charge on my account. It was very confusing so I decided to start looking into it. After spending an entire day setting up and account to get to the bottom of it...I realized that Surebridge/Chesapeake has been charging my account since 2016 for policies that I did not even know I had to the tune of close to 20K. I filed an appeal and was denied. My insurance man did not know I had these policies either and they basically blamed him for the policies. I am getting a lawyer and also going to contact the news stations to expose this practice. Horrid and a crime!

Truly the worst insurance experience I have ever had. I had to go to the emergency room in early October 2020. I had purchased emergency room supplemental insurance with Surebridge along with some other policies. Suffice it to say, on March 22, 2021, I have received no notice of even the status of my claim. I have made probably 10 phone calls during this time, only to find out they would state they had not received documentation despite it being sent more than once. The website approaches useless, customer service is terrible. My advice to anyone with Surebridge insurance is to cancel it immediately. And then double check that you cancelled all policies, as I thought i had finally extricated myself from these monsters, only to find out they had only cancelled one of the 3 policies I was talked into. Please. I implore you. Run! and don't look back. They are truly awful and should be out of business.

HORRIBLE. I would never wish this headache upon anyone. So much of my free time has been spend being pissed and annoyed with incompetent people within this company which leads to this review. I was charged three months in a row after cancelling my plan. I called in cancelling every month to follow and requested email confirmations from the phone calls which I didn't receive. I started asking for names to try to create a trail because this company started to feel fraudulent. Courtney L. was a member that said I would receive an email confirmation of cancelation 15 mins after our call, never received one. My 'agent' Chris Siciliano was incredibly unprofessional which made me uncomfortable with the fact that I had previously shared private information including SSN, banking info etc. When calling again, I was forwarded to a VP member which I was on a transfer hold for a ridiculous amount of time and then was sent to a full inbox which then hung up the phone call. After calling again, I was told I would receive reimbursement to my account within 10-15 days *16 days ago, and when I just called, was told it was sent two days ago and that I would receive it by mail in another 12-15 days. Doing the math on that means I'll be waiting a minimum of 28 days to receive three months of back payments this company took out of my account without permission. If I had a repellent I would spray this company out of existence, some total BS.

Found transition to new online portal to be fraught with problems. Hours on hold as others point out. The end result, they were unable to get my accounts up and running properly on the new website portal. My take is this company must be all about profits paired with extremely low efforts in user experience or support. If simple account maintenance is this rocky, imagine if you had to make a claim. I definitely wouldn't recommend SureBridge to anyone I know. I closed all accounts and plan to investigate a more trustworthy insurance company with a better reputation. Also one where user experience and access is more thought out and solid.

I called and called Noone know nothing I sent claim over a month ago and nothing. I paid for a service that is not being rendered. I was told when purchasing this insurance " Oh claims should be process with in a week" REALLY?
