I know that SuperMoney is just soliciting offers from other lenders so this is a reflection of at least one of their partners. I was looking to refinance my auto loan and ended up on this site. The site itself is well done and was nice to work with. However, the offer that I chose was for a loan that was for 63 months at 3.39% for a loan amount of $35,189 with a payment of $559. The sales agent called and said that they could offer me an APR of 3.89% and my payment was going to be $621 for the 63 month term. I told him what the offer was and he said he couldn't do that. He got to looking and that offer was basically a payment on 0% interest. I did the math and sure enough, $559 * 63 payments is $35,217 which is basically the loan amount. I went to a loan calculator and plugged in the numbers with 3.39% APR and my payment should have been $610. I don't know if this is a glitch in their system, but it sure seems like a bait and switch at best and is an intentional lie at worst. This offer was from AutoApprove. I had 3 other offers from AutoApprove that varied in the number of payments, but all of them were not calculating in the interest money so the actual payment would be much higher. This definitely puts legitimate offers at a disadvantage as their payment will seem MUCH higher. I have all of this documented with screenshots. There were a couple of offers that actually added up from AutoPay. I don't know if they would truly honor them but at least the offer numbers were truthful. SuperMoney, you may not be responsible for the offers lenders make, but you could at least run the numbers and make sure it adds up before presenting them to the user. You do have culpability here even though the offer came from a third party. *****UPDATE***** The action taken by SuperMoney seems reasonable and the response to my concerns was professional. While what happened is unacceptable, it appears that SuperMoney is taking the appropriate steps to resolve the issue and fix any future problems. As a consumer, I can't ask for any more than that. Thank you SuperMoney and I am upgrading my review to a 5 star.
