SupermarketItaly.comReviews of supermarketitaly.com

Excellent experience! Ordered some German rye bread packages on Thursday, delivered on Monday to our porch in TX. Very well packaged and got exactly what we ordered. Compared to the W.....t big retail chain store which cancelled my order after a week or so without giving me any reason it was a much better deal and overall experience. Thank you very much! Will be buying here in the future again!

My experience with Supermarket Italy was very good, I'm sorry for the bad experiences, but I never had problems with them, the food is very fresh and of very high quality. I will continue to be a loyal customer of this place.

i have been buying from this website for over 2 years now and they have a great selection, fast shipping, surprised by all the negative comments

Have ordered several times. Good selection and great prices. Wonderful place to shop for Italian specialities.

It’s amazing! Everything is packed meticulously, bubble wrapped with care; and arrives safely. If you have a problem, they resolve it. I have shopped there dozens of times. It gives my family access to so much variety and quality that we would not otherwise have access to. Peruse online, and sign up for the sale alerts, and you will get excited building a cart to hit the free shipping. And even more excited when your treasures arrive. Shop their clearance section for amazing deals on close dated or past-dated items, and enjoy fresher olive oil than you would get in the grocery store. Shop by country. Shop by dietary restriction. Shop by seasonal. Shop by food type. Buy brands and sweets that you haven’t seen since you were in Italy. And enjoy a price on Marvis Amarelli Licorice toothpaste 3.8 oz, like you were IN ITALY right now. Definitely go shop online there! You have been forewarned, it may become a delightful habit/addiction. I just checked: I’ve got 15 orders under my belt already from January 2022-November 2023

Writing this review because there are so many bad reviews here. My experience has been nothing but spectacular. Great service all around, sure the 10% first order discount doesn't work when you buy multiples with discount, but they were able to apply it offline after I placed the order. Great communication (1 item out of 25 was out of stock and they offered a replacement or wait 5 days for it be replenished, or a refund). Shipped within 1 day. Arrived within 1 day. Very very well packed. We are happy and will certainly order again.

I ordered for the first time and checked whether the site is legit; these days you never know if a site isn't a fraudulent front. The reviews on this site were pretty negative, somewhat outdated but at least indicating the store is legit. I risked it as some of the product sounded interesting and were hard to find elsewhere. I was positively impressed - the order arrived 2 days later (I'm in MA) and everything was wrapped nicely maybe even a little much. Everything as described. I am thinking maybe when these guys started out they didn't get everything quite right but learned from things that didn't go well - I am very pleased and will definitely order from them again! (The Italians make such nice things.)

I found Supermarket Italy by accident, when searching for some hard to find import items. The service by phone was engaging.. smart.. fun.. and most of all, Professional. I would definitely use them again.
