Avoid this company at all costs. Fence building is not sophisticated woodworking but this company screwed up the simple fence so badly it had to be torn down and redone. Terrible workmanship, attitude and false communications. NEVER USE THIS COMPANY!

FEEL WE’VE BEEN SCAMMED
Contract signed on July 10, 2026
Was told it would be 4 weeks for installation. The DASHBOARD shows completed on September 1st and no installation has occurred. We decided to go to their office in Tulsa OK and it doesn’t exist. They stated that they recently moved their office to Springfield MO. But the office is currently occupied by another company that was also closed so “recently” does not add up. All communication since one half down payment has been with an office person by phone and commitments by the company owner has been by email only. I emailed asking about their location and have asked both for their new address and neither will provide it. Google shows a location (just like it did for the Tulsa location) and I stated that I would have to make a trip to MO.
The owner stated that he would have a definite date for the install to us this week…this is the second time he has said this. Utilities have come out 3 times to mark the lines and this is the only thing that has made feel the install is going to happen.
Will update this review if/when the install takes place.

Our neighbor is getting a fence put up…
Our neighbor is getting a fence put up and they have been an absolute nightmare. They have cut our internet line not once not twice but 3 times! Not to mention the hit the gas last night and had to evacuate our house. Over an hour of gas pouring out making me sick and my house smelled. Nicor had 6 trucks out with special equipment because they messed it up that bad. Oh and the original time they put the holes in ground for the posts failed city inspection and were on our property line! This company has also taken over 2 months and they don’t even have the posts up. Do not hire them!!!!

Don’t stand behind there work and contact.
We hired Superior fence a rail of Columbia SC to install a wooden privacy fence 40ft with a 10ft gate total 50 ft fencing all 6x6 posts w 1x6x6 pickets. At our signing of contract we sat at out donning room table with there salesman Greg and me an my wife stressed to him we did NOT want 1x6x6 dog ear pickets because they don’t last and warp bad. When there employees showed up with the materials they had what we didn’t want!!There employees showed called the mgr Craig then we talked and he said we have to Cheney you more for 1x6x6 pickets… I DID NOT agree. That’s not what we wanted. Don’t put it up. He told my guys are there and we need to finish the job today,Which they did anyway!!!!! Then they installed a 9ft gate when it was supposed to be a 10ft gate per contract. Now we can’t even get our boat into it like we had planned it for. Never would return our calls poor quality lumber thats warping already just what we didn’t want to happen it’s happening and now!!!! BIG MESS NOW!!! Over paid from the get go thinking we are gonna get a nice heavy duty good quality wood like promised along with 1x6x6 pickets per contract and a 10ft gate for our boat. Then I put a review on there site an owner apologized for the work and stated please contact us!! BUT can’t even return our calls!!!! Even wrote them a letter when I sent in the final payment No response either.Long as they got paid that’s all they are worried about obviously!!!!NOW we STUCK with it!!! BAD business man that won’t stand behind there word most of all there own contract!!!!!!! CASE CLOSED!!!!Hard lesson learnt !! I don’t want to see happen to anyone else that happened to us!!!!I would even go here, but took years for us to save 47OO dollars for this project and then we got Burnt!!

Overpriced
I was given a 4200.00 quote for a standard 100ft wood dog eared fence by Cortez. This quote was the highest I received out of 6 companies. All Fence quoted 1590.00 but I dodged a bullet with them as well because the quality of their work is not good. Cortez had some good points but not enough to make me pay double for a wood fence that will look like every other fence in the neighborhood. I also had a 2200.00 quote and a 2600.00 quote last year. Superior qoute was the highest by far. The HOA will only allow wood dog eared fences, the fence will look just like everyone else’s, why would I pay double? Also after further investigation I see a lot of people had problems. Glad I declined.

Superior Fence and Rail
We asked for Superior Fence and Rail at 2976 Lark Rd, Palm Springs, FL 33406 to come out and prepare a proposal. Our salesman came out and assured us we would receive everything we discussed. We did receive very good customer service until we signed the contract.
We found out on the day of installation that many of our customer services expectations were not received. The material was not cared for and delivered damaged on day of installation. Some gates appeared to be refurbished materials. Many scratches and damage occurred during the installation process. The installers did not use new hardware material to install the fence. One pole was removed from my driveway even though I was told it would stay. Now I have 2000 psi concrete as a patch in my driveway. One section was mismeasured, leaving a gap where an animal could easily escape.
All of these were concerns reported with pictures, either the day of installation or the next day. Sadly, I mostly ignored, even when I made repeated requests for a manager to reach out to me. There were 3 return trips to address my concerns. Yet I had to reach out to them so I could find out when they were going to be scheduled and be on property. After 2 months, my concerns were addressed in the cheapest way possible; thankful for some material preplacement but mostly disappointed with spray paint for powered coated materials. I was told to close the gap to be like the original fence was installed; it was going to be an upcharge of $500 for a 6-inch piece of mesh that would most likely be scrap material laying around the warehouse.
I learned the hard way that Superior Fence and Rail will only make decisions in the company’s best interest and not the customers. Be prepared to write every detail down or record the conversation if you want what is originally discussed. Be prepared for massive frustration, lack of communication and being ignored if you express your concerns about a good job happening on your property.

Signed contract on 5-21-2025, install still not scheduled as of 7-5-2025
Signed contract on May 21, 2025 and made a required 50% downpayment at that time. The company has a dashboard that is supposed to show the job progress - the dashboard hasn't changed since signing the contract. When I've called about an installation date, I was told that they were waiting on permit approval from the city. The city has a website that showed the permit approval was completed the day after the application was submitted. The office manager said that she would call me back later that day, but never called me back.
No one from the company has ever contacted me to provide any updates.
After it was evident that they could no longer blame delays on waiting for the permit, I was told that they are waiting on materials, before they can get my job on the schedule.
I have had materials for other jobs that I've ordered from China after I signed the contract with Superior Fence that arrived in less than 2 weeks.
Miss Dig came out to mark my yard for underground utilities a couple of weeks ago, but the markings are almost gone, due to at least two lawn cuttings since that time. No one from Superior Fence called, nor was the dashboard updated, to let me know that Miss Dig had been contacted.
We can't make plans for a summer vacation, because we're afraid that the company will schedule the installation while we're out of town.
With so many companies going out of business currently, and the total lack of communication from "Superior" (ha, ha) Fence, we're afraid that we've made a huge downpayment to a company that's getting ready to close its doors.
Regardless of what they eventually install, if they ever do install anything, our family's summer has been ruined. We can't travel because we're waiting on installation, and we're very worried that we'll wind up in court with a bunch of other plantiffs, suing to have our downpayments returned from a company that has gone out of business.
The company website brags about being the nation's highest-rated fence company. My experience with them has been terrible.
