If there's anyone that still has suddenlink and you need your billing lowered message me. Billing only please
I'm a former employee. All of the things that you're going thru is mostly user and system issues. Any things technical can't usually be fixed do the the poor infrastructure or again it's a user error.

The rates keep going up and I have not upgraded anything. They are not an honest company. They need to be audited.

The internet service is terrible even…
The internet service is terrible even on the upgraded package, Internet keeps dumping signal making it very difficult to work from home. We have had 2 technicians over and both said too bad the new modems have issues and the company knows the modems are terrible and have not worked bugs out. Customer service is min 20 minutes wait if you can even get ahold of them. Been over a month and cable is still snaked across backyard, Exhaust all other alternatives before using this company for internet

Suddenlink Sucks!
My mother is 83 years old and lives at home alone. Her cable and phone are out about one week per month while Suddenlink provides little to no explanation and does not care about my mom's safety. No sense of urgency to service the 83 year old woman. They lie and tell us it will be on that afternoon and it never is. It always happens on a Friday and takes a week to get fixed. We are cancelling her service with Suddenlink and now it is taking them over a week to port the number to AT&T. Mother still has no phone and we are checking on her regularly since she cannot call anyone for help if something happens to her. This company provides the worst service in the country. I cannot believe they are still in operation. People in rural areas have no other choice and are at the mercy of the horrible company. They need to be investigated and shut down.

Use someone else for internet
We were told that when we switched to Suddenlink that not only would our monthly payments not going to increase but also that Suddenlink would buy out our current contract. We LOVED Suddenlink at our apartments and were upset when Suddenlink was not available in our new home. So when a representative was informing us that Suddenlink was now available in our area, we knew immediately that we were switching back to Suddenlink (even without that amazing offer). The representative that came out was very attentive and helpful (which we already knew from previous experiences with Suddenlink).
When we switched to Suddenlink, we were told that nothing further was needed from us because Suddenlink would handle the buy out of our current contract. And with our previous amazing service experience with Suddenlink, we believed we were in the clear; we did not cancel the automatic monthly payments. For the entire time we've had the new service from Suddenlink, we have been charged from our other carrier. We have since canceled the automatic payments.
My husband called a few days later, and after 45 minutes on hold, recieved the information that the paperwork for the cancelation of our previous carrier was required from us. He double checked everything we needed to do; I was then informed that we needed to call the Suddenlink Accounting phone number (516/803-6214) to explain the situation and receive the proper paperwork to fill out and return said paperwork which would be explained in full when I called the number provided. I called the accounting Monday, Wednesday and Thursday with no response. We both called today and were directed to an email attempt. Every time we submit what they ask for, we are told that there is another obscure piece of information that should have been given to us last time. We switched in January 2020 and still have not been reimbursed as of July 2020.
We also pay for 1 GIG but have been throttled at 279.8 download and 51.3 upload. This has been going on for WEEKS. We now have to have a technician come out and confirm that it's their equipment that's malfunctioning. However, if it turns out to be us (we've had several technician experienced neighbors look at it....it's not us), we will be charged 60$ and no back credits. But we can purchase 'safe guard' to have a technician come out free of charge anytime. Suddenlink has gone way down from when we first had them. Honestly, if there was any other internet service providers in our area...we would switch ASAP. Long story short, if you can avoid this company, do so!!!

The worst company in the history of…
The worst company in the history of cable. Its more like suddenblows. I have been overcharged since 2019 right after my acct # was changed. My online acct keeps getting hacked and i cant access my acct. When i ask about my services they refuse to give the right answers. They need to be audited by the IRS because they are seriously ripping people off.
