After 21 years of garbage for cable and internet. I don't know why I haven't cancelled them yet. They lie and tell me a supervisor will call me and they never do.When a the cable box needs to be reprogrammed or repaired its always 4-5 days to get someone to come and fix it.Just feed up and need a change of services.

Hands down the worst cable/internet provider on the East Coast. I have been charged for home telephone service - never had the service. Over $80 a month for a very long time - with no refund. Now they've quit sending me paper bills because "You've signed up for paperless". NOPE.

0 stars for billing. We only had internet with them with the intention to leave 6 months out of each year and it would be on season hold. The Rep said there would be no charge for that time. Next billing there was a charge and when I called they said the previous Rep was wrong and they couldn't honor it and that it would be at least a $10 a month charge. We said fine, since no choice. I then received notice that they were charging me a monthly fee for TV, which is a fee our Condo HOA pays monthly for everyone. Now the bill was showing $140. They told me twice they would correct that, but it never came off my bill. A half dozen calls and calls not returned tells me there is something serious wrong with this company. I just cancelled today after a 1 hour workout on the phone to get the right person. She could not even give me my final bill (which I know will be wrong). Every time I asked to speak to a supervisor, I was disconnected. Very dishonest company.

Suddenlink’s customer service people (other than Retention) were absolutely inept, uncooperative, rude and totally useless. They knew nothing! I called and asked one simple question; "If I remove my landline phone from my account, what will be my new monthly bill". They could not answer that question!! They refused to answer that question!!! I was on the phone for 2 1/2 hours with 3 people and they could not and would not answer that question!!! They refused to escalate the call to their supervisor. When I insisted, they just put me on hold and refused to speak to me. They refused to help get the information needed to answer the question from some different department. There is no way I could say enough bad about the stone wall of silence that you call Customer Service. They should all be fired. Then --I got to the 4th person, Tammy, in Retention. She answered the question in one minute and made the change for me. If it weren't for Tammy, I would have completely cancelled my account. Promote Tammy!

If there was a -star rating i'd have put that. I have no idea how this company corners the market in mammoth. ANY provider would knock suddenlink out of the park if they came in and provided any amount of service for mammoth. #verizon ! Removing their service is nearly impossible and having their service is a waste of money and causes STRESS bc they're so inept. You will jump through hoops to just talk to someone and if it's about your bill FORGET IT ! they will steal your money in a heartbeat and you'll never get anything for it. Seriously if you can, use a dish or anything but Suddenlink. If corruption had a name it would be Suddenlink.

Worst internet service and provider I’ve ever encountered. If you have a choice in who your provider is I would not go with sudden link. They over charge. And good luck Getting them on the phone. 3-hrs total hold Time. No joke then they will put you on hold and then hang up, they have your phone Number and they don’t call back when cut off. So you spend another hour on trying to Get them back on the phone. Just to be Told there’s nothing they can do. So they give you a direct number to there sales Retention team. And guess what it just puts you back into the switch board for another One hr wait. Thanks for reading post

Suddenlink/ Altice has the worst customer service of any company that I have dealt with! Trying to do something as trivial as reporting a service issue becomes a big production. One chat rep attempts to help me and fails, so I get another rep and he cannot even find my account (even though the rep 20 minutes earlier had no issues). I find out 3 years later (after internet speed upgrade) that the mbps speed that I was quoted and was paying for, was much, much less than I was being told. It was a repair person with Suddenlink who tells me that I am being ripped off. I call customer service numerous times to get some explanation of how and why I was paying for higher mbps speed than I was actually receiving, and was basically told that it was my fault for not learning this sooner. No rep would help me! Suddenlink/ Altice is the only high speed internet provider in my area, I would be thrilled beyond belief if another high speed internet company would take up residence in my area!!! Suddenlink customer service sucks, their prices are unbelievably high, their internet service goes out constantly, they do not help you in any way what so ever when asked, etc. I should be getting free internet for a while due to them quoting me one price for a certain mbps speed and them providing me a completely different, much lower speed mbps and still charging me for the "fastest speed pkg". I truly dislike this company and would go to another provider in a heart beat if there was one!

This company is PATHETIC!!!!!!! For years I put up with blackouts, pixels on my Tv, technicians unable to fix things, slow internet and EVER INCREASING RATES-----ALWAYS!!!!! But NO increase in quality or customer service!!! Before I decided switch to another company I called customer service and asked for assistance and she informed me that there was nothing that she could do to help me. I informed her that I was probably going to start looking for another cable/internet provider and she said NOTHING!! I then told her that when I disconnect my service if I could just do that online----but she said "no", you have to call this number and we will help you with that. So I signed up with another provider and I called back to cancel my service. Now I get a lady who is doesnt want me to change services so she is making me all of these sweet deals----and I tell her that the other cable company was installing their cable as we speak, so I told her that I was not interested. She then passed me on to another person who did the same thing---even offering me better deals than the lady did. I told him the same thing. If these people cared enough to help me when I first called---ALL OF THIS HEADACHE could have prevented!!!!!!! BUT THAT IS NOT THE END OF IT!!!! I go to the local store here in Midland, texas-------in the Midland Park Mall and try to drop off equipment but the people THERE tell me that they are not accepting THEIR OWN EQUIPMENT????!!!!! That I have to FED-EX their equipment to them instead of dropping it off in their store------and i was right there IN THEIR STORE!!!!! WHAT STUPIDITY!!!!!!! DO NOT USE SUDDENLINK!!!!!!!!!
