Hello Carter, The shoes you purchased are the LOGAN Vintage. Each pair has a treatment on them involving a small but of black ink that is rubbed onto the shoe, which is clearly visible in the product images. Each pair has a unique treatment, and perhaps yours were heavier than others. Please reach out to customer service for a different pair or a different style.
