Joining story-hero academy has been a goal ever since I first heard of its development. Now that I’ve been apart of it for a few months I can honestly say that the wait was absolutely worth it! Both the lessons provided and the community are extremely helpful, and even as an experienced video producer, I have learned a lot of new things! The lessons have helped me get crystal clear on the actions I need to take, and the community has helped me actually take action. I believe this is going to be a big tool in achieving my dream of becoming a full time content creator, and I would strongly recommend anyone with the same dream to invest in this academy.

The course give detailed information about everything you need to know about storytelling and videography. Some lessons are targeted at beginners while there is always something for experts to learn. It opened my eyes so I can see stories where I used to see just topics. The Community is even more useful. Through feedback spaces, friendly exchanges, weekly accountability calls and frequent events we grow together. I've met and connected with likeminded creatives and reignited my passion for creative storytelling. The feedback from the team and other members made it possible break free from mediocracy and old habits that prevented me from growing as a filmmaker, as a creative and as a person.

At first, I was hesitant because of the price point. But after looking at Niklas’ work and the quality of his storytelling, I had a strong feeling this would be something special, so I pulled the trigger. And honestly, I was amazed. The way Niklas teaches is very professional, clear, and engaging, with a lot of real value. I’ve been making YouTube videos for over 3 years, and I’m only about 10% into the academy(because it's enormous), yet I was already able to apply what I learned directly to my videos. I’ve noticed a substantial improvement in my audience watch duration and overall views. That said, the real value of StoryHero is the community. Being able to interact with like-minded creators, submit your work, and get genuine feedback from people who are on the same journey is pure gold. On top of that, having guest creators like Ed Lawrence and Uptin Saiidi sharing their skills and insights makes the experience even more valuable. Looking back now, I actually think the course is undervalued for what it offers, and I wouldn’t be surprised if the price goes up in the future. Highly recommended if you’re serious about storytelling and YouTube.

Story hero academy not only teaches you how to be a filmmaker and tell better stories but gives you systems an an active community to keep you accountable, while most courses are showing you only technical details, story hero shows you the mentalities and the perspective you need to be a storyteller, and succeed in whatever space you work in. With an actual active community, community events and friendly competitions that inspire you to keep moving forward the money that it costs is a small drop in the pond for what it gives back to you

The quality, value and knowledge you get from this Academy are hard to describe. It is just insanely good. I have taken many online courses about filmmaking, but this is something different. Story-Hero academy gives you step-by-step frameworks to follow, so you can bring your ideas into a final video with depth. You have to study and stay focused while learning. Take notes and practice what you learn. If you do, I can promise it will change the way you tell stories and make videos.

It genuinely gives you all the tools you need to understand filmmaking deeply and build from strong narrative foundations, and they’re clearly committed to improving the course over time, with new content being actively worked on. What really stood out to me is how seriously the team takes accountability and support. I had to ask for a refund due to unexpected personal circumstances, and the process was handled thoroughly, professionally, and without any issues. That alone says a lot about their values and how they treat their students. Finally, the community is one of the strongest aspects of the program. It’s very active, and the feedback space in particular is incredibly engaging, with lots of thoughtful input from other members. Overall, Story Hero Academy is a high-quality course for anyone who wants to take filmmaking seriously, whether you’re starting out or looking to level up your storytelling skills.
