Update: it was a big misunderstanding between me and the person doing verification. A higher up reviewed the situation and explained what happened and what went wrong and said the discount should apply. And they are gonna let me know when I’m good to make a purchase again. I love storm but today was a up and down. But was made right in the end. I will still recommend storm despite this I previously used storm religiously as they were kind and easy going. They also offered a great first responder and veteran discount but not no more. I went to get a new VPS system and renew my previously held veteran discount. But was denied the discount. They said “I did not complete my service” so I don’t get the discount. I was medically discharged due to tears in my knee I had no choice to complete my service due to injury. However they gave me a medical discharge not a separation. But since I did not complete my 4 years storm says no discount. What about those deployed that get shot and medically discharged before their 4 years are up? Are they not veterans to storm server hosting? Correct they aren’t veterans to storm server hosting. I myself am 100% P&T meaning I am injured and disabled to a belief where the VA says I should no longer have to work due to service connected injury. So don’t goto storm server hosting as they also don’t have their policy posted.
