too slow shipping but the door was ok, thank you for it!

I would have given 5 stars but the item I ordered wasn't shipped for 3 days after purchase. If I would have known that, I would have ordered the item at Amazon for $3 more and received it in 2 days.

8 days to deliver. Have not tried the product so hard to tell if I like it or not.

Shipping charge is high, but package came quick.

As far as Preferred Doors goes, I believe it is a very good company. However, during the holiday season they should increase the shipping priority so the package does not get stuck in Houston. The company told me that it is this way every year and the USPS sorts the priority mail first and the lower class mail when they can get to it. The added extra cost to the customer would help on the delivery time. For me, going on two weeks.

Haven't received the item yet, its been about 10 days since I ordered it. Update 01/05/2018: Finally, after waiting for more than 13 days, I finally received the item yesterday. I haven't installed the item yet, I will give another update once I have it installed. Update 01/13/2018: I installed the item today and seemed to work as advertised. Though there was a 10 day delivery delay, I am a bit at ease as the product works. Changing my review from 1 to 3 stars. I would advise the seller to have mechanisms in place to monitor the delivery of the item to buyer and if it takes longer automatically have trace request open with the carrier.

I'm really impressed with this device. The set up was a breeze. My overhead garage door is old and I was sceptical to order a remote control but as soon as I received it I was able to make it work in less than 10 minutes. I heard that you have to be really close to the garage door in order to receive the signal but it wasn't my case , it works flawless even 60 feet away. I just received this item 3 days ago.
