Some time ago our beautiful little furry guy sustained a serious injury to his hind leg "shoulder." He was unable to put his leg down and was obviously in pain. It was on the weekend and we were unable to reach our vet. Since Dr. Schotland was a neighbor, we sought her help in dealing with this. She prescribed a medication for his pain and inflammation. Fortunately, in the age of Google, we checked her prescription before giving it to him. The dose was dangerously wrong for his weight. We brought that to her attention. Her reaction? From that moment on she refused to acknowledge us or respond to a friendly "hi." So she was punishing US for HER mistake. Wait- what? So I posted a review on Google Maps and her husband ended up at the base of my driveway shouting "You're a coward" at me. I didn't care much for that. But I did email them asking if they would like to sit down and calmly go over what happened. No response. Dr. Schotland DID write a Google rebuttal saying nothing out of the ordinary whatsoever occurred. So then why did this ever get to be an issue? You want to work with her- entirely your prerogative. But I recommend against it. I don't have a record of the exact date this occurred.. Now Trustpilot requires the incident happened less than 1 year ago, but I think the back-and-forth that recently happened with her and her husband qualifies, as that entirely unprofessional behavior is quite recent. NOT professional behavior in my opinion by any stretch of the imagination.
