During the initial presentation they never say how much it costs. They even imply that you can invest using other peoples money and not your own without actually saying that. I filled out the application to have a one on one call regarding their platform. Prior to my call they have someone call you and ask a few questions to prequalify you. When I asked about the price he only said they will explain it on the call. I asked about a guarantee and he explained they really could not give a guarantee because it depends on how much effort you put forth. I explained that I am uncomfortable paying a large upfront fee with no guarantee. I made plans to be home for my 4:00pm zoom call. It never came. I did receive a text that they were running 15 minutes late, so I waited. They never showed up. If they were not going to call me at least they should have had the decency to tell me I was not a good fit for their platform. Instead I wasted my time looking forward to an investment opportunity that they decided they would not offer me. This is very unprofessional and shows that they are only in it for the big upfront fee. I would not trust this company.

Stupid Expensive
I was upfront with the sales rep about my goals and intentions. I expected to look over a trainer’s shoulder, follow the steps being demonstrated, and begin LIVE trading within weeks. That was not the reality.
After onboarding, I learned that it could take months to feel comfortable trading. On different calls, I heard members describe taking 1 to 1½ years to reach that comfort level. That’s a long road with no guarantee of reaching breakeven.
The cost? $5,000 for three months—and you’d better be prepared to sign up for more training if you need additional time. After the initial three months, be prepared to spend another $3,800 for the next three months. That’s $8,800 for six months of training, and on calls I heard members say the system still hadn’t clicked for them after that long. The initial $5,000 may be just the beginning of a MUCH larger financial commitment. And if six months still isn’t enough? You could end up paying toward the $12,000 annual program—while still needing money of your own to trade. Trading itself carries risk: you can win, but you can also lose.
Despite the great reviews, I have to wonder how many people invest $5,000 only to discover that the learning curve and financial commitment don’t translate into the results they hoped for. And then what? Keep pouring money into training that may eventually click? There are other programs available for far less. Do your due diligence and compare your options.
The biggest problem? The contract. The terms include a no-refund policy, which the sales rep did NOT disclose before I joined. The company’s response was that I hadn’t asked. Stock Navigators knows the financial commitment it’s asking customers to make, and its no-refund policy should be clearly disclosed before the sale—not left for customers to discover after joining. My cancellation ultimately cost me just over $1,000.
READ THE CONTRACT BEFORE SIGNING. Tell the sales rep you’ll call back, then take a full day to read every provision—including the refund and cancellation terms. Don’t let a sales pitch rush you into a $5,000 three-month commitment that could grow to $8,800 for six months or $12,000 for a year. Know what you’re signing up for—and what it will cost to get out.
Stock Navigators knows how to sell its program. Its marketing leans heavily on a handful of success stories, but prospective customers aren’t given the same behind-the-scenes perspective on the learning curve or the challenges along the way. I believe the same level of clarity should apply to the learning curve, total financial commitment, and cancellation terms—BEFORE customers pay and get locked into a contract.
My advice: understand exactly what you’re buying, how long the learning process may take (“it depends on how much work you put into it” is not an answer), and what it will cost to continue. Trading stocks carries risk. There are other trainings worth investigating. Buyer beware.

I wish I did more market research. Very antiquated and overpriced.
I wish I had done more market research before spending $6000 on SN. They are the most expensive program I have yet to see, and they don’t even allow you to access the information or community after a year without coughing up more money. Which is crazy, considering the majority of traders don’t become profitable until at least 3 or more years of trading. In fact, one of their “coaches” told me that during a “coaching call” which turned out to be a high pressured sales call to get me to spend thousands more on livestreams while I was only half way through the program. SN did give me some extra time with the program after I had a baby, but it still wasn’t enough. The instructors, Tom and Cleve, certainly devote a lot of time to coaching calls, livestreams, etc, however, even after watching all the modules and taking advantage of all the content, I don’t recall being shown their entries/exits, position sizes, etc and was still left without a clear strategy or “edge”. And when I first purchased the SN program for $6000, they really made it seem like being profitable in the first year was possible. I don’t think they realistically let people know just how difficult trading is and how much you can expect to lose in the beginning. I know for a fact that their student highlights do not honestly showcase what the students actually lost in relation to what they also made. And at that price, you don’t even get a single 1 on 1 session with an instructor, and the group coaching calls didn’t always fit my schedule. It’s also hard for someone like myself to participate in group settings when learning a brand new skill.
I have since come across dozens and dozens of other trading communities and mentors that are way more reasonably priced, you can pay low monthly subscriptions, and they teach the exact same concepts and will actually tell you where to enter and exit, how to position size, etc. and they don’t charge extra thousands for livestreams like SN does. But I can’t afford those, because I am still paying off the SN program.
I was a bit sale pressured to take out a loan to pay for SN with a company called Upgrade, with the hope and expectation that it would be made back with the trading skills learned. I have found that to not be the case. I am still struggling to pay off that loan, and I am on the charts everyday with a prop firm and haven’t been profitable or made a payout yet.
SN is a very nice community and decent program, but is unbelievably overpriced compared to what is available and I am kicking myself that I didn’t do more market research before going with them.
*Update.. after writing this review, I reached out to SN per their response. I spoke to Tiffany, the daughter of Tom. After speaking with her, I change my review down to 1 star. She compared me writing this review to an ex girlfriend going online to complain about her relationship. It was bizarre to conflate the two. What was even more insulting was she claimed to have called Upgrade, the loan company that their sales rep pressured me into using, and claimed that she tried to get them to cancel my loan, but they wouldn’t give her my personal information. They are a financial institution..why would they do that? Lol. She then expected me to be grateful that she did that. It was so weird and felt so manipulative. A respectful business owner would just give a fair partial refund, instead of what she did. The Luongs are millionaires and don’t need to be scamming people for their now $7000 antiquated program. I swear there are so many more mentors out there that charge a fraction and actually show you how to have an edge in the market. Stock Navigators is a joke.

Hi Tam,
Thank you for taking the time to share your experience so openly — we truly appreciate it.
We hear your concerns around pricing, expectations, and not feeling like you walked away with a clear, actionable edge. That’s important feedback, and we take it seriously.
We want to clarify a couple of things for transparency. Our program is designed to teach traders how to think, manage risk, and make independent decisions, rather than provide exact entries, exits, or signals. We are not financial advisors, so we don’t position our education around telling students exactly what to trade. That said, many of our students are able to understand our framework deeply enough that they often identify and take the same trades alongside us.
We also want to acknowledge your comments around sales pressure and financing. We never want anyone to feel pushed into a financial decision or take on something that creates stress — that is not what we stand for, and we’re actively reviewing how we communicate options like financing to ensure they are presented responsibly.
While we’ve seen many students achieve strong results within their first year, trading still requires consistency and disciplined execution, and each person’s journey can look different.
We’re really glad to hear you found value in the community and support, even if other parts of the experience didn’t meet your expectations.
If you’re open to it, we’d genuinely like the opportunity to speak with you directly and better understand your experience so we can make this right where possible.
Please feel free to reach out to our support team.

I was scammed of $7000!!!
I was scammed of $7000!!!
I formally requested a refund for the stocks mentorship/training program I enrolled in. The total amount paid was $7,000.
At the time of enrollment, my understanding was that the program would provide structured, guided mentorship with a significant level of one-on-one support. This expectation played a major role in my decision to invest in the program.
However, after participating, my experience has been very different from what I anticipated:
• The training format has not been easy to follow and lacks the level of clarity I expected
• The support provided has not been one-on-one as I understood it would be
• Despite my efforts to engage with the materials, I have not gained meaningful learning or practical value
• The program structure and delivery do not align with my learning needs or the expectations set during enrollment
I want to emphasize that I approached this program with genuine commitment and a strong willingness to learn. Unfortunately, the program has not delivered the educational experience or mentorship support that influenced my decision to join. I want my money back!

Hi Katrina,
Our records show you enrolled in the 12-month Expert Trader program in October 2022, and your refund request was submitted nearly four years after enrollment.
Expert Trader is a structured, 12-month education program that includes a step-by-step curriculum, weekly live coaching calls, and ongoing access to our support team during the active enrollment period. Thousands of students have gone through this program over the years, including many who began with no prior trading experience.
We understand that not every learning style is a perfect fit for every program. When students communicate challenges during their enrollment, our team works directly with them to provide additional clarification and support.
Because your request was submitted several years after enrollment, it falls outside of our refund policy timeframe. For that reason, we were not able to issue a refund.
That said, we take all feedback seriously. If you would like to have a direct conversation about your experience, we remain open to hearing more.
You can contact our team at [email protected].

Ask , make sure!!!
I keep seeing Stock Navigators ads all over Facebook, and honestly that already made me uncomfortable.
Before joining, I asked them a very simple and reasonable question:
“Can I get a full refund if I don’t make $3,000 monthly profit?”
or
“Can I get a full refund if I don’t at least make back the course cost within 6 months?”
I never received a clear or direct answer.
That was enough for me to walk away. Any company that is confident in their system should be transparent about risk and refunds. Instead, everything feels focused on getting people to pay first, while the risk stays 100% on the customer.
Be very careful. In my opinion, they heavily market on Facebook and rely on people’s money, not guaranteed results.
Do your own research and ask hard questions before trusting them.

Hi Emil,
Thank you for sharing your perspective. Before enrollment, we always connect directly with prospective students to confirm the program is a good mutual fit and to answer questions in detail, including expectations, risk, and our refund policy.
Trading is a skill based on education, practice, and individual execution. For that reason, we do not offer income or profit guarantees, and this is communicated upfront. What we do provide is a structured curriculum, a proven trading framework taught to all students, and live weekday sessions where strategies are demonstrated transparently in real market conditions.
Our coaches and support team are available throughout the program to guide and support students who actively engage with the material. Refunds are handled according to a clearly defined policy, which we are always happy to review with anyone prior to joining.
We wish you the best on your journey and success in reaching your trading goals.

Hi David,
We are sorry to hear that you feel disappointed with your experience. As soon as you reached out and shared your concerns, our support team contacted you to offer help, including clear steps to get back on track and repeated offers to speak with you directly over the phone. Unfortunately, those offers were declined.
A core part of our program is making sure students build consistency in simulated trading before moving to live trading, which protects them from unnecessary losses and helps them develop independent skills. When students follow this process and reach out for support when they need it, we are able to provide guidance and help them progress successfully. However, our ability to assist is limited when a student is unwilling to engage or does not adhere to our Code of Conduct, which is in place to maintain a respectful and productive learning environment for everyone.
We genuinely wish the outcome had been different and that we’d had more chances to support you directly. Our team works hard to deliver world-class training and support, and we’re proud of the results our students achieve when they actively participate and apply the process as designed.

Thank you for sharing your feedback, we regret that we didn't have an opportunity to address these concerns before you left our program over a year ago. We’re disappointed to hear that you didn’t find the course valuable, especially given the additional resources we provided while you were active in the program, specifically when you reached out for help in June of 2023.
To address your claim about our mentors: this is simply not accurate. Our mentor, Tom, for example, has over 25 years of experience trading, and our team is comprised of dedicated professionals with extensive expertise and proven trading consistency.
We stand by the quality of our curriculum and the support we provide to students who actively engage with the process. If there’s something specific you’d like to discuss further, we’d be happy to hear from you directly via email at [email protected].
Best regards,
The Stock Navigators Team

I was really interested in this program…
I was really interested in this program and was definitely going to give it a shot. I had a phone call with what turns out was a salesperson and it went fine. The price they quoted me was $7800 for the program which involved quite a lot. I told the gentleman and the phone I wanted to research the company and would decide by Wednesday (this being Monday) would give me a couple days due diligence. I had the very same day a death in my family and had to attend to that. In Tuesday I received a text message from the gentleman. I spoke with on Monday asking me if we were still good for Wednesday. I sent him a text back letting him know that I would need to reschedule probably for the following week is what I was thinking because of the death in the family and all that I had to take care of because of that. the text I received back from him was so inappropriate that I’ve absolutely decided not to go with the company and I would tell anyone just to simply stay away from them. The two people in the original video, the sun and the father seemed like decent people and they may be but they’re caught up in a high-pressure sales scheme at this point in time , whether the program works or not, I am absolutely staying away because of the way that gentleman approached me in a time like I’m having and I’m sitting here on a Tuesday evening fuming and now I’m leaving this review in the hopes that we will save someone else the trouble of dealing with the company like that. The sad thing is I was interested and wanted to make more money for the charity I’m involved with and he knew that and was still just nasty when I wanted to reschedule. JUST STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROGRAM. You’re dealing with a cause that’s been lost.
