Time is money. I opened my first TD account and started hitting the internet June 24 2020. I went to Google and YouTube as a source of info defining things from Google and then trying to watch someone execute on YouTube. I learned a lot and this is how I found Tom and many others. My trading journey spans more than twenty years ago during the dotcom era. I remember taking a crash course on how to trade stock options and a grew a small account of to thousands of dollars only to see it mostly disappear because I didn’t know how to read a chart. It humbled me quickly and made me realize there is more to this trading thing then meets the eye. Over the years, I taken courses from different instructors only to find myself knowledgeable in one area but still struggling to find a consistent path to trading in the stock market. Before Stock Navigators, I felt like I was viewing a large puzzle only to find myself missing key pieces to finish the puzzle. I live on the East Coast in the Maryland area. Like many place this area was hit hard by the Coronavirus in 2020. I owed a small business - Facility management company working with Commercial Contractors and Universities. Unfortunately, I lost most of my contracts and my business suffered greatly. I had to transition back into the workforce and became a Supervisor at an Amazon Fulfillment Center. When I came across Stock Navigators I regained new hope about trading and felt like this is the one thing you can finally control with all chaos going on in the world right now. I signed up with Stock Navigators in May of 2020 and I enjoyed the videos. Most of the information I was already familiar with, but little nuances like the “buy” & “sell” zone gave me a different understanding of where I am as a trader. The two biggest take away for me is how to apply the Elliott wave with Fibonacci Extension/Retracement and the Psychology of the Market: 1. I have a book on Elliott Waves that I purchased more than 20 years ago. The book was very complex and difficult to understand, and I gave up trying to understand the concept.
