Donor and their broker were frustrated
I am not a stock broker, so I'm not really sure what the issues were, but when we sent a potential donor and their stock broker to Stockdonator.com they came back to me completely furious and frustrated with the process. Maybe a clearer way to find the "non-automated" form would help, and a clear explanation to brokers as to what the process is, as many donors will have their broker deal with the process. There were some issues with whether the stock gets "Pushed" or "Pulled", that I don't pretend to understand, but info around this issue might have been helpful to the broker, who "Pushed" the stock to Stockdonator, so then Stockdonator did not have the information needed to get the proceeds to us, the intended recipient.

Hi, I'm sorry you had a negative experience using stock donator. The non-automated form has instructions that need to be followed in order to complete the transaction. We will think of other ways of making it clear that the brokers need to follow all of the instructions listed on that form. Although it wasn't as smooth as you wanted, I'm glad the transaction ended up working for you and that you received the funds. We will take your suggestions to heart and try to figure out how we can make the process better. Thank you for brining this to our attention.
