DISAPPOINTING QUALITY
DISAPPOINTING QUALITY, POOR DURABILITY, AND UNACCEPTABLE CUSTOMER SERVICE — WOULD NOT RECOMMEND STIX GOLF CLUBS I purchased a set of 12 STIX golf clubs in July 2025, which I received in early August 2025. Since then, I have played no more than 10 rounds with the set, as I do not golf during the winter months. Despite this very limited use, the shaft of my 9-iron broke just a few days ago while hitting a routine approach shot from the fairway. I estimate that I have hit no more than 50–75 shots with this particular club, mostly at the driving range. I find it extremely disappointing that a golf club would fail after such minimal use. A golf club should reasonably be expected to withstand normal play for many years, not break after a handful of rounds. I contacted STIX Golf customer service, requesting either a replacement 9-iron or simply a replacement shaft so that I could have the club repaired myself. Unfortunately, the company declined both requests and offered no satisfactory resolution. I consider this extremely disappointing customer service, particularly given how little the clubs have been used. Beyond the broken shaft, I have been underwhelmed by the overall performance of these clubs. Although they are lightweight, I have experienced a significant loss of distance compared with my previous Callaway clubs: Driver: Approximately 20–30 yards shorter. Irons: Approximately 10–15 yards shorter. Wedges: Reasonably good and comparable in performance to established name-brand wedges. Another frustrating aspect is the apparent inability to leave a customer review directly on the STIX Golf website. I attempted to submit a review and even contacted their website chatbot, which directed me to a review page. However, there was no functioning option or link to actually submit a review. I also called their customer service number, 1-866-326-0695, but could not find any option to speak with a live representative. For a company marketing golf clubs directly to consumers, I would expect much better product durability, customer support, and transparency when it comes to customer feedback. My overall experience with STIX Golf has been extremely disappointing. The premature failure of my 9-iron, the noticeable loss of distance compared with my Callaway clubs, and the company's unwillingness to offer even a replacement shaft have left me with very little confidence in the brand. Would I purchase STIX golf clubs again? ABSOLUTELY NOT. Would I recommend them to another golfer? DEFINITELY NOT. Based on my experience, I would strongly encourage prospective buyers to consider established golf brands with proven durability and better customer support before spending their money on STIX clubs.
