The matte black is beautiful. Sound quality is stellar. Treat yourself! This is the best stethoscope ever. I had the Cardiac III since nursing school. It is still a great stethoscope if you are deciding between the III and IV. I just went newer. Sound quality is amazing, easy on the ears and easy on the neck. Must have!!! Highly recommend.
