I called because the link on my email wasn't working, first time I called they hung up on me, second time I called they had me on hold for thirty minutes to just tell me to try my computer, third time they finally decided to tell me the website wasn't working in general. It was a great experience :)

I was extended an offer for employment through Panda Express. I need to take a background check they're Sterling. The link I was sent when I click on it said that I am to pay 2995 for the background check to be employed. I contacted the general manager of Panda Express and let her know my issue and she gave me a phone number to call. The phone number was for Sterling and the person that I talked to you this morning was not very helpful. He told me to call back the general manager and have her fix it because it's not on his end and he doesn't know what to do! I'm very unhappy and unsatisfied I need a job and I cannot proceed to become employed until the background check is done and I should not have to pay for it.

My experience with your staff earlier today was absolutely atrocious! Never in my life have I been cut off in the middle of various conversations. I literally felt like a child being chastised for attempting to explain the purpose of my call. It was so bad I had to call the hiring agency recruiter for a three way conference call to basically understand clearly what your employee wanted to convey. Totally unacceptable.

Terrible. Sterling was trying to get records from a courthouse that doesn’t provide records from their county it had to be done on a state level. All sterling did was prolong the process even after I called the county myself to get clarification. Case was escalated several times but sterling just doesn’t seem to have a real process. The managers don’t have direct contact with any of their support teams so there’s always a 4-6 hour wait when anything gets escalated. Imagine having to wait several weeks for a background check to come back when you have no criminal background.

bad customer service. the customer representatives did not seem to care about the problem nor able to offer help.

Very frustrated. I have spent hours upon hours trying to complete my background check. I made several calls to receive assistance, only to be disconnected time and time again. I received an email this morning saying the I.T. department is looking into the problem. I will not be able to start my new job due to this.

NO HELP . NO KNOWLEDGE IN THIS MATTER OF CONCERN

I've only had problem after problem with this company for background and only this company. When running a background check on me they always come back with two felonies (vehicular homicide and grand larceny). Now, it's not like I have a sealed or expunged record. I have no felony at all. When I try and rectify the situation with them, they just say there's nothing they can do. I thought all hope lost and figured if any company used them to check my background, I was just out of luck. Until, I applied to a job that had a four layer background check process. The first layer was a 10 year MVR. That came back clean. Then they do a NICS check (that checks for felonies or any crime of violence). That came back clean. Then they do a check on your fingerprints to see if you've ever been arrested. That came back clean. Then the used Sterling. Mainly to check my education and job history. Sterling returned to them a disqualification for hire based on the two felonies they report me for having. Thankfully, the company did that deep dive into my past before using Sterling, so I was able to dispute it quite easily. Needless to say, I got the job and start soon. However, when I brought all this information to Sterling, they refused to do anything and, in no uncertain terms, told me that my background check through them would always show me as a two time felon.
