This company is bad they gonna stop me to work 1 month i wait nkre from 3 week to accept my document you try to contact but nothing

***please don’t use this company should you wish to have a certified and legitimate check performed*** This company is by far the most useless company I have ever had to deal with. A simple screening check was performed and due lack of due diligence and actual understanding of a UKVI issued visa they have prevented myself from legally working in the UK. Numerous emails and calls have drawn a blank. This company clearly has no expertise in verifying documents and understand how they work. There pure arrogance when they think they are correct is disgusting. So if you are wanting factual information I suggest you use a different company who are accurate and thorough in there findings.if I could give minus stars I would

1-3 days they say? That’s never happened. I’ve passed checks at other companies within hours throughout the pandemic so to blame it on court closures, etc is just a lame excuse. It’s been 10 days so far. No work ( I lost it too) and paid for this useless service.

This bunch of psychopaths cancelled my check and made my company suspend me from work just because of a typo in an irrelevant old address of mine from 5 years ago. And now they want to make me do all the process again and have to pay again because of that. These are the true definition of Psychopaths. Be very careful with them. You literally can't go more disgusting and mentally-ill than them because it's just impossible. This is the UK at its finest. Nowhere else in the World you are going to see people behaving and messing with others peoples lives like that. I can assure you that.

Asked to send w2 and pay stubs for every job I've held since 2008. Claim they are unable to contact employers even though I've reached out to several past employers and they've received no calls or emails from sterling. Sent w2 and pay stubs as requested and was asked for the same information hours later. Sent it again stating I would not send it to them a third time. I'm basically running a background check on myself. I've done all the leg work on this and one week into this process they continue to ask 3 times a day for additional information. Useless company.

I would give 0 starts if I could, it's been 2 weeks since the background started, they sent the back an incorrect background to the company I'll work for and have been trying to fix for one week. Every customer service tell me a different story and no one can resolve a simple issue. I would not use their service, as an applicant I almost feel like giving up the job because of the amount of stress Sterling is causing me, at this point they will delay my start date because they couldn't complete the background. If you care about your candidate don't use this service!

I would have given them negative star if there is any option. They started my reference check three months, and also provided me clearance that "they have received all the information which they were looking". At the very last moment just before 4days my joining to the new employment, they requested further information and it result in delays in joining. Also they took very long to pick the call(90% of the times). I would not recommend sterling to anyone because of this non-serious and highly unprofessional and unplanned style of working.
