A joke ,my id kept coming out fuzzy and blurred yet I use a top of range Huawei phone to take the picture. This then failed to id me and have a delay on starting my employment.

I moved to florida 7 months ago. I was hired in August of 2021 for a position. My background check never came back and the company hired me on contingency at the end of October 2021. In mid January my background came back and my temp position ended. It took them from August - Jan. 5 MONTHS to get a background check. Now I’ve gained employment with a different company and they went with Sterling. It has been a month and they say it’s still pending FOR THE SAME BACKGROUND CHECK that came in Jan of 2022. I am very frustrated with this company. I tried to file a complaint and they gave me an e-mail. what a joke. If they can’t even conduct a background check in a timely manner how and why would they email me back about my concerns. WORST COMPANY EVER!

Slow and incompetent. Peoples lives are put on hold waiting for information to come back. Ive had three background checks since September. Two of the three took less than 48 hours, they werent with sterling. Sterling is well into its second week on the current background check, and still nothing. Pathetic.

They keep sending me an email requesting authorisation from me for them to contact my old university. I have emailed them 6 times with two different documents and they just keep sending me the exact same email, robot-like.

complete amateurs work there without any mind and spirit for work . ive been waiting over a month for a background check and they ask me stupid and non reasonable questions . even the want from me to send my driving license and passport through royal mail to confirmed that they are original .

Once more this company has failed to recognise a Valid UK visa. I have a valid returning resident visa with a settlement sub class of Indefinate leave to enter. When UKVI issue a visa overseas you have a 6 month entry clearance window to activate the visa. This company insists that the visa of Settlement indefinate leave is for 6 months. Absolutely circus of a company.

I have been waiting over 2 weeks for my background check to get returned. I've tried to do my part to speed up the process such as following up with the court myself but to no avail. I cannot EVER recommend this company to anyone looking for a background check.

If I could give this shabby company a zero. I have had many background checks done Federal, State, County and they've all come back in 1-2 days not 2weeks, and I've been calling only to be told nothing I don't know where they get these customer service people from, but they are horrible and not helpful if you're going to have people working from home don't hire slackers but professionals because they also make the company look extremely bad. I know I don't have a bad background all I want to do is just start my new job now, but this company don't care about regular people who's trying to work .
