No help at all trying to do the background check and nothi g they just took almost £50 and don't give a s****

Do not give them your money. Applied through LiveOps and was instructed to pay $25 to obtain a background check to work as an independent contractor from home. Told it would only take 1-3 days. Called on the 3rd day after LiveOps encouraged me to inquire on the status. Sterling told me to give them 24hrs. Then the next day got an email saying it would not be completed for another 10 days. 13 days later, still not done. I call and request a refund. By the way, I also applied for a other independent contractor opportunity the same day and they run the background check for free. They use checkr and that background check came back in exactly 3 days.

The absolute worst. Will tell the employer and you that they are "expediting" the background check. It has been almost 2 months. They will say that they are waiting on this county, that department, etc. They will provide to the prospective employer a due date, it will roll around, they do nothing, then they extend it - over and over. So far 3 times for me. Soon 4 delays. They will tell you if you call them that they have a person physically going to the courthouse, then they do nothing. A lot of lies and a lot of delays. Anyone that says that this company is effective must not be from this planet.

Sterling SUCKS. THIS IS A INVESTIGATIVE COMPANY BUT THEY CANT SEEM TO VERIFY NOTHING WITHPUT THE PERSON THEY ARE INVESTIGATING PROVIDING THEM WITH ALL THE DOCUMENTS TO INVESTIGATE U AND PROOVE EVERYTHING YOURSELF. THESE PPL ASKED ME TO SEND THEM MY W2S TO VERIFY A JOB OF MINE. WHAT IS COMPANIES PAYING THEM FOR IF I HAVE TO SEND DOCUMENTS TO THEM. IM DOING THOER JOB FOR THEM YET THEY ARE MAKING MILLIONS OF DOLLARS FROM COMPANIES. I DAMN NEAR DONT EVEN WANT THE JOB ANYMORE. IF THEY TELL ME I HAVE TO SEND IN ANYTHING EKSE TO STERLING I WILL REFUSE AND JUST FIND ANOTHER JOB. THIS COMPANY HAS MADE MY HIRING PROCESS A LIVING HELL AND NIGHTMARE.

This one of the worst companies i came across to set up a drug test. I den on hold since 9 something this morning and I'm on 3 phones trying to get through. I also email them. So unprofessional. And what's even more frustrating i set my drug test up last week go in this morning we can't do your drug form they sent me you fox form ya'll don't accept. Not Good

I NEVER had to wait more than a week to get my background information done! I was supposed to start my new job on the 16th of this month and was currently pushed back two weeks because Sterling is taking forever to get the job done. When I call to get the status of the background, they’re telling me the same thing each week which is crazy. I hope I don’t miss out on this great job due to the fact that they take their time to help others get to work.

I have had background checks done for several jobs in the past but this one took and incredibly painful amount of time to Customer service is nice but does not have any more information than I can find for myself. My case was supposedly escalated but there is no proof that anything was done concerning the turnaround time for me screening. I am still waiting to go to work and hopefully I don't lose this amazing position just because my background check is taking so long.
