Incompetent people asking for the same information again and again without bothering to read already uploaded details. The validators on their forms are broken, rejecting document IDs that are mandatory to provide. Details of the same documents must be entered multiple times on the same form. They send an email asking for contact information to a HR representative, something that was already provided to them days ago. Writing to the customer support providing proof that they already have the information means nothing (they did confirm to forward the details between their teams though), they just request it again in a week for the third time. There's absolutely no feedback on the progress either.

Awful, unprofessional. Hire staff that are only capable of copy and pasting a predetermined script. Absolutely ridiculous and stupid to work with, they preach how they're all about customers but it's bullsh*t

Sent multiple documents for proof and they denied every one. Certain documents not everybody has access too so why such silly parameters are set I don't understand. Provided statements but I bank with online bank called Monzo which only provide online statement which they don't accept, frustratingly. Utility bill I don't have because is all included in rent I asked them repeatedly to advise but they send the same copy paste nonsense everytime. Frustrating to work with. Avoid if possible. You can literally see all the positive reviews come from accounts that have both been invited to submit a review and have only submitted one review which is highly suspicious and frankly obvious that it's sterling trying to big up themselves knowing full well how rubbish they are. A laughing stock of a company. Be wary too because I've sent multiple documents to multiple variations of emails all claiming to be sterling associated. Call line is even handled by non English speaking individuals.

Well its been over 14 days and my background check still hasnt came back as cleared and its quite disappointing b/c i need this job.

There was a job application that I have waited for 8 months and finally I completed my background check but somehow after completing my background check my employee sent me another email regarding to need additional information about ID Verifications. I reached to Sterling and they told me that they already sent email invitation about ID Verification. But I never ever receive that email in despite I check all the times every single email on my mail box including spam, junk, others, deleted etc. They insisted about sending email. They always said I needed to check my junk, spam box. It must be a joke. I asked them if they sent me that email again and they were unable to send that email again due to it was automatical system triggered mail bla bla bla. If I never receive that email how they couldn’t send it to me again, I can not understand. Now I couldn’t completed my id verification and unemployed for 10 days with my company. This is totally frustrating and unaccaptable. Threy only advise me I need to re-apply to the job. I waited already 8 month for this and they only say re-applying from beginning. I am devastated and condemning this useless company.

I had a terrible experience with document checking from this company. I have applied 10 times and every time they send automated message that does not help. Additionally, their customer service do not answer requests and are not helping. When I tried to add my document then system doesn't allow me to add it. please advise how you deal with this time of company?
