Overall, I found Sterling thorough and helpful. There was a glitch on my application about past employment and the person at their customer service was extremely helpful. All worked out. The only downside to the e-application was the inability to complete it without email or phone information for former employers. Two of my former employers are out of business. I did put that in the comment section.

Good process

I was happy with Sterling. Then only issue had was that they were requesting documents one by one instead of asking all of them as a list.

I have apllied for a new position at a company who uses Sterling for their background check. I have tried to get their system to recognise my name but I am told to re-enter my full legal name as shown on govt documents. So basically I am being told you don't know your own name. This gives me ;ittle confidence in what information they may find on the mystery candidate. ME... Since this I have found assistance in that the screen has a mystery question to confirm your name again. However hopefully they can sort that out. Since then everything has been completed without any extra work from me.

Overall, the initial process was fairly easy; however, there was issues with your company being unable to open the PDF files I sent saying they were encrypted when they were not. Babylyn reached out and I was able to send her the files. Your automated reply system continued to send notifications that my documents hadn’t been received even though she said she had received, which was frustrating. When I followed up with FCA once she said she had received they stated they were still waiting on documents.
