Their website is full of bugs/issues. Customer service do not properly address concerns, either because they have no fix or because they do not actually take the time to read the problem in the first place, so it just ends up going around in circles. Avoid working with this company and seek another provider.

I have been trying for over a week to help my husband by completing this background check. The fields are not accepting the dates of employment; keep getting error messages and the dates are correct. Awful awful company! Partner completed back ground check with Uber eats, it came back saying she had failed the right to work within the UK and N.I. she was born in this country has a British birth certificate which was uploaded and driving licence along with other documents. Uber say to contact sterling then sterling say contact uber. Complete joke! We only had her wage coming in as I am on maternity leave!

Unable to log in and complete background check, customer service team couldn’t help despite constant efforts by myself as well as my employer for a period of four weeks. Platform is quite inefficient and slow.

I couldn't login and got stuck in a login loop. Called for assistance. Couldn't resolve the issue. Submitted a ticket to IT. Issue still not resolved. I've been waiting for 2 weeks for a response now.

Terrible customer service. Waiting for an hour in the call queue only for the agent to pretend they couldn't hear Me and disconnect the call!!

Awful service. Supplied the information they asked for and they then said the information submitted was not relevant for the check they were performing. Called the helpline and got nowhere and was told to email in.They send a document in the post making it seem everything was done. They finally respond to my email after 3 days they need additional info. Poor communication and service. Would never use this service again.

Sterling is absolutely useless. They claim turn around times are 3 to 5 days. Im going on few days shy of 2 months. They have nothing but excuses, even blaming the state court system where I live for not having your background check completed. They told me the court records department where I live stated their system was down. The next day I spoke to the supervisor in that department, and he said this has been am ongoing problem with sterling lying and blaming..they should be shut down especially with the type of work it is,they can screw and im sure have many lives up.
