Disrespectful tone (revise)
Update: Since posting my original review, SteelMaster’s team, including the general sales manager, has been consistently professional and responsive. They took my complaint seriously, asked for the details, and focused on fixing the experience instead of arguing about it. After that, they supported my evaluation process exactly the way a customer expects: clear answers, patience with my questions, and help comparing options so I can decide what is right for my project. I’m not writing this to “walk back” what happened on the first call. I’m writing it because the follow up has been strong enough to change my perspective about how the company operates when an issue is escalated. As a business owner, I value how a company responds when something goes wrong, and in my case they handled it the right way. Original review ========== Scheduled sales call on January 20, 2026 at 10:00 AM about a Quonset style building kit. Early in the call I was asked for my budget. I explained I’m comparing systems and don’t have a specific budget number yet. The representative replied: “Oh, so you must have all the financial resources in the world for this project.” I ended the call due to the disrespectful tone. I can’t comment on the product because we never got to specs, engineering, or itemized pricing, but the professionalism on the call was not acceptable.
