Some yrs ago I wrote a review on how the soles fall apart and it seems its still happening. This company needs to get its act together and review its product manufacturing methods... obviously it just doesn't care as long as suckers keep buying...take a look at these reviews in product review website!

Didn’t even last a year which is not good enough in my opinion as much cheaper boots have lasted longer than this. Customer services aren’t responding to my emails, I expect much more from a company as big and expensive as this !

worn 6 times. comfy but soles fell apart.Hydrolysis . fell apart. Reply from Steel blue was to appear like they have looked after the problem or defective material.companies response is just a deception to appear to care.none connected email address supplied below .RUBBISH! Boots fallen apart after long storage purchased in 2008 A chemical reaction called Hydrolysis has occurred which happens due to the age of the boots generally 7+ years old, being unworn and lengthy storage conditions, basically the chemicals used in the soling which provides the underfoot comfort can breakdown and deteriorate when unworn and stored for a long time. I have owned my boots for exactly 2 months and the soles are cracking. I went back to were I had bought them from and they said they would order another pair but I needed to wear my boots for 2 more months to see if they continue to fall apart. I wasn't very happy. Why couldn't they just give me the new pair? I paid over $200 dollars for these boots and they only lasted 2 months.

These boots are extremely uncomfortable. I have tried to give them time to break in by forcing myself to wear them for as long as I can tolerate the pain. The foot padding is terrible and my toes feel like they are being crushed.

100% comfort guarantee !!!! More like 100% waste of money. I purchased these boots 7 months ago, only to find the boots are totally unusable due to the zip. I contacted the company I purchased these from only to be told they only have a 6 month warranty. £130.00 for 7 months is very disappointing, and to add insult I contacted the steelblue directly…still waiting. I have had Cheaper boots that have lasted way longer, in-fact if you think about it, you could have 4 brand new pairs a year for the cost of these. Don’t take my word alone, read the online reviews, they are not as good as they say. 100% comfort but not even 10% quality.

Purchase SteelBlue Boot and hardly used them. Then the Zipper jammed open on one boot. The other boot Zipper is starting to slide badly so it will most likely jam soon I suspect. SteelBlue did not even want to look at the boot and said it only has a 6 month warranty. Not sure how SteelBlue can keep tabs on their quality if they don't even considering inspections a fault of a boots that has hardly been used.
