100% Scam. Paused my weekly subscription but they magically unpaused it without prior notice and charged me twice. Support refused to refund, instead canceling my account completely, removing my access to the platform and my old data. Also unsatisfied with product. Text humanizer repeatedly caught by detectors.

I signed up for StealthGPT to use the Humanizer feature and was extremely disappointed. The software simply does not work as advertised. Not only did the output still fail AI detection tools, but the quality of the writing was terrible. The text was full of grammatical mistakes, awkward phrasing and unnatural sentence structures. In many cases it was almost illegible. Rather than sounding human, the output often read like it had been written by an 11-year-old trying to sound academic. It was not something I could realistically use for professional or academic work. Had that been the end of the story, I probably would not have bothered leaving a review. Plenty of AI tools overpromise and underdeliver. The real issue was what happened when I tried to cancel. After testing the software, I decided it was not fit for purpose and attempted to cancel immediately. The cancellation process led me to believe my subscription had been successfully cancelled. After following the cancellation steps, I was presented with upgrade options again, which strongly suggested that I no longer had an active subscription. I therefore stopped using the service completely and did not log in again. Over a month later, I checked my bank statements and discovered that weekly payments were still being taken. It turns out there were additional steps required to fully cancel the subscription. In my opinion, the cancellation process is intentionally designed in a way that is confusing and misleading, making it easy for customers to believe they have cancelled when they have not so they can continue to revieve their subscription fees. I would be intersted to know how many subscribers actually actively use the software, or are just in the same predicerment i was, as i cant see how this tool could be useful to anyone with free AI models such as Gemini or ChatGPT available. Albeit they wont pass an AI detection test, but neither will StealthGPT! When I contacted customer support, I explained that I was happy to pay for the initial week when I tested the software. I simply asked whether the subsequent payments could be refunded because I genuinely believed I had cancelled and had not used the service since. My concerns were never properly addressed. Instead, I received a generic response stating that I was outside the refund window. When I explained again that the issue was the misleading cancellation process, not the quality of the product, my concerns were ignored and I was sent a link to the Terms of Service. Nowhere in the terms of service mentions a 'refund window'. After raising the issue again, I received no response at all. My overall impression is that the company is far more focused on retaining subscription revenue than on delivering a quality product or providing good customer service. The Humanizer feature was ineffective, the cancellation process was confusing, and customer support showed no interest in engaging with the substance of my complaint. Based on my experience, this feels like the sort of business that survives not because customers are impressed by the service, but because people are unintentionally left subscribed after believing they have cancelled. Whether intentional or not, that was certainly my experience. My advice is simple: avoid this service. There are far better AI tools available, and if you do decide to sign up, monitor your bank statements carefully and obtain written confirmation if you attempt to cancel. I would not recommend StealthGPT to anyone.

Horrible the quality, sentences out of sens, mistakes..

I registered an account and subscribed monthly on 8 May. However, when I checked my account today, 24 May, I discovered my subscription had been cancelled without my permission. It should have lasted until 8 June. No notice, no refund, no contacts. THE SUPPORT WEBSITE EVEN SHOWS ERROR 404 SCAM A response to stealth gpt: yes, of course I did not reach out to the support team, because your support website SHOWS 404!!!!!

What a load of rubbish! No way to even test if it works... straight to payment subscription! Wow. These apps get more and more greedy. If you don't let users see or test how anything even works! Do you really expect us to just sign up £29.99 a month and be happy to hand over money month after month! haha ridiculous. I do not recommend this

Ongoing Unauthorized Charges & Misleading Subscription Practices I signed up for a free trial of StealthGPT and canceled it shortly afterward. I did not continue using the service and never authorized ongoing monthly charges. Despite this, I was charged $14.99 per month from February 2024 through January 2026, totaling $359.76 over two years — without my knowledge or consent. When I contacted customer support, they refused to issue a full refund for these unauthorized charges. Once I informed them I would escalate the matter to my bank, they stopped responding and sent only a generic website link instead of addressing the issue. Additionally, when accessing their platform through related branding (such as “Undetectable AI”), the interface and billing page appeared identical to the original StealthGPT trial page, which raises serious concerns about transparency and subscription clarity. This pattern reflects misleading billing practices and a lack of accountability. I have initiated a formal dispute with my credit card company and will continue pursuing this matter through appropriate consumer protection channels.

This app is not worth the money that I paid for it. It has not helped in any way.
