Very frustrating claims experience. I have spent weeks calling, leaving voicemails, and sending emails regarding my auto claim and my request to reconsider a 50/50 liability decision, with almost no response from the assigned claims representative. I am not asking State Farm to simply agree with me — I am asking them to review the evidence, explain their decision, and respond to my concerns. Customers deserve better communication and support, especially after an accident.

State Farm Claims
State Farm finally paid after over almost 5 MONTHS WAITING.
Formal Complaint and Request for Immediate Claim Escalation
I have made several attempts to contact State Farm Claims regarding my accident and have been unable to obtain a meaningful response or resolution. I have even left my name in the queue, which has become extremely frustrating and, frankly, feels like a joke.
It has now been more than four months since my accident, and I am still being given the runaround. During this entire period, I have been left dealing with financial consequences that I believe are directly related to the failure to properly handle this claim.
As a result, I have suffered a 30-point reduction in my credit score, incurred late fees, and now have a late payment being reported on a vehicle loan for a vehicle I no longer have and cannot use., oh, and the CC fees on top of that.
I have continued making payments despite this situation. Most recently, I made a $700 payment for August. I would view this situation very differently if I still had possession and use of the vehicle, but I do not.
I am requesting immediate escalation of this matter to someone with the authority to resolve the claim and address the financial consequences I have incurred.
Specifically, I am requesting:
• A written explanation of the current status of my claim.
• The name and direct contact information of the person responsible for resolving this matter.
• An explanation for the delay of more than four months.
• Immediate review of the financial damage resulting from the unresolved claim, including late fees and credit-reporting consequences.
• A determination of what State Farm will do to correct or reimburse these losses.
• A written response within a reasonable timeframe rather than another referral back to the general claims queue.
I have retained documentation of my payments, late fees, credit impact, attempts to contact State Farm, and other expenses associated with this matter.
If this matter cannot be resolved promptly, I will pursue the appropriate regulatory and legal avenues and will provide the documentation to the appropriate authorities. I also reserve all rights regarding any damages resulting from the continued delay.
I would strongly prefer to resolve this directly and professionally. However, after more than four months without a satisfactory resolution, I need someone with actual authority to intervene.
Please treat this as a formal escalation and provide a written response.
Imight add, they did respond with self-support rhetoric as one would expect.
To date, I've contacted them with out response to my last three e-mails.

I'm a 30+ year State Farm customer. …
I'm a 30+ year State Farm customer. Someone hit my car, very low impact, no injuries. State Farm determined me not at fault. Her insurance (Farmers) refused to also pay which forced me to file a claim w/my insurance. Initial estimate was well within the amount that would keep it from being declared a total loss.
The autobody shop found additional repairs needed once they took off the bumper. It was still within the ratio for what should be been still under the total loss value. I called to speak with the State Farm Claims adjuster and found that they fired all their claims adjusters and now you get to call essentially a fishbowl of "claims representatives", who are poorly trained, can only read from scripts and essentially will not help you. I've had to go to my local agent just to be able to get SOME information, which has helped but mostly their hands are tied.
Then, I find out despite telling State Farm MULTIPLE x that I wanted to know in advance if they were going to send an inspector to look at my car, I find out not only did not do that- they claim that an inspection happened on a Sunday when the autobody shop was closed. The so-called inspection was done by AI, maybe a drone, I don't know. State Farm won't tell me. I did get a call from State Farm essentially ORDERING me to go get my things out of my car because they said I would need to sign over my title to them.
I refused and said I would pick up my car that they were not getting it. I try to call this person back at State Farm corporate and they have an AI screener before you can even try to get to a live human and if you don't answer the questions EXACTLY they way the bot expects, the call is terminated. They don't respond to emails for days or even longer. Say they will call and then don't call.
Then, when they do call without any advance notice, like they think that I don't have a job and can be available at their beck n call. I am absolutely disgusted with State Farm.
All these insurance companies need to be busted up. They no longer care about customer satisfaction. It would seem CEO/ Pres, Joe Farney has very much lost his way starting as an intern in 1993. Making $24.5M/year and all the bonuses he gets to find ways to scr3w their customers, they don't give a D@M about their customers, much less long term customers.
SUE THE HELL OUT OF THEM!!!! Hey, if someone can get this message to CEO, Mr. Michael Tipsord. 'm.tipsord .....statefarm.com' let him know he has a VERY ANGRY CUSTOMER!!!! I refuse to be a doormat just because they think they can bully people without consequences.

State Farm Claims Damage is “Man Made” to Get Out of paying out Insurance Claim.
Regarding a claim for hail damage on my roof: Let me start off by saying I only gave a one star rating, because I can’t give any less on the site, or I certainly would. I have been with State Farm since I was 16 years old. I’m now in my 60’s. The adjuster from State Farm in the San Antonio, TX - Charles A.….(Supervisor level: Jackie D., Sub: Cory B.) stated that the damage was “man made” and therefore would not be covered. This makes no sense at all. Their decision was based on an engineer they paid, that obviously is going to side with State Farm on this. That right there is a nonstarter from my point of view…..it wasn’t an independent third party no matter what State Farm claims. State Farm is paying the engineer. I had three different roofers come out and look at my roof and ALL three said it was hail damage. Bottom line - State Farm is a sorry, poor, pathetic insurance company that treats lifelong customers terribly. I would NOT recommend them to ANYONE needing ANY type of insurance. I will be taking my business elsewhere, to a reputable company that takes care of paying customers!

you see my past review on state farm
you see my past review on state farm, it s worst the supervisor adjustor and the 2 adjustor. The one adjustor supervisor pull the bbb reports and see it first and don t send it to the corporate office, cause he trying to cover up the mistake and wrong pull and told me he will not be pulling the phone recording.so, jose, Troy and brandon doing illegal stuff, under state farm eyes. He trying to keep it from higher up by pulling the bbb . But I m way ahead of them. He won t pull the phone recording, and he hidden the true, .so they have criminal act, they hiding. If state farm would listen to the recording and progressive notify letter about what we try to tell Troy McGee and brandon. And I not going to stop. So who reading these reviews from state farm higher up... Need to reach out. Open an investigation on them state farm corporate headquarters, the three that are illegal hidden phone recording need to stop them, cause this coming to be a serious law suit. And they knowly committing an crimnal act. They are hiding this from their bosses. I have all the receipt and everything. And maryland insurance commissioner, I m not going to stop and I m going to call the attorney in the state where there headquarters are. So, who ever read this from state farm corporate office, they are playing you jose, Brandon and Troy McGee, what the doing is putting your company for liability case.

Mishandled claim
We’ve been loyal customers of State Farm for over four years, always paying on time and trusting we’d be supported if something went wrong.
Unfortunately, when we actually needed help, we were let down. We were given conflicting information, our concerns were dismissed, and a representative closed our claim without hearing us out or allowing escalation.
It was not just disappointing — it felt like our loyalty didn’t matter.
We’re sharing this not out of anger, but in the hope that State Farm will take a closer look at how customers are treated when they need help the most.
