This is a third party who will work on your behalf to file your LLC registration with your state. You can do this yourself which would be cheaper rather than paying a third party. I learned this after thinking State Filings was my state's government's website based off the look of the website. I wanted to get a refund but could not as the LLC application had already been filed with the state. However, after speaking with my assigned account manager, Casey on this matter, I decided to commence with utilizing State Filings as she was really personable and answered all of my questions very quickly and promptly. The benefit of utilizing this specific third party was having readily accessible customer service during normal business hours with quicktime response compared to my state which avoids phone calls and capitalizes on our state's tax dollars by doing the minimum.
