About International Star Registry

Name a star and join the ranks of celebrities, dignitaries, and special people worldwide who have been honored to receive a star in the Heavens shining in their name. When you name a star, you will receive the same iconic International Star Registry parchment certificate that hangs proudly in homes all over the globe. You will also receive a sky chart with the star's location indicated and circled and a booklet about astronomy. When you name a star there are numerous package options, including framing options, engraved sterling silver jewelry, a "photographic sky chart" and more. How does International Star Registry name stars?:Through the centuries, the stars above us have been recorded in dozens of different astronomical catalogs created by scientists throughout the world. Modern scientists do not refer to most of these catalogs. In 1979, International Star Registry was founded for the specific purpose of allowing everyone on Earth to take part in claiming a special connection to the starry skies above us. We broke with scientific tradition and created a completely unique catalog of the stars, assigning names to stars and listing them alphabetically rather than by size and location. Although we have great respect and gratitude for the scientific community, and benefit greatly from the research and discoveries so many great minds have brought to us all, we believe the stars do not belong solely to the scientific community, but to everyone. There are many of us that are moved by the stars in very personal way.Our star catalog, titled "Your Place in the Cosmos", contains the names along with the telescopic coordinates of these stars. It is not a listing used by the International Astronomical Union or other members of the scientific community. The purpose of this unique list of stars is to honor someone special. It is intended to be a lasting and beautiful gift. This catalog of star names is the ONLY PUBLISHED LISTING of this type in the world. We name stars for people a

Scam…
Don't think they give a new name to a star!! It's just a scam to steal your money. They created an app where you can see your name located to a star and you can't find your name anywhere else... Don't waste your money!!!

My experience was awesome
My experience was awesome. My wife was stunned. Her family was amazed. She said how much did that cost? I said I can’t tell you it’s a gift. For the price you would be a fool not to give this to someone you love. IN MY HUMBLE OPINION. I have been happily married for 31 years.

It's a thoughtful gift
It's a thoughtful gift. Size of a degree. It's a certificate, with documentation on the star. I got mine professional matted and framed. They put the star info on the back., Pricey for what you get.

NEVER USE INTERNATIONAL STAR REGISTRY!!!!
So after the poor customer service I received. NOW after tracking my package, international star registry didn't put the apartment number on my package they mailed out and is now being returned to sender (I would post screen shot of their confirmation of my mailing address but cant). NOW the baby shower gift WILL NOT BE HERE ON TIME!! Not only am I out the 68 dollars, I have to now go out and find something else and spend even more money. Worst experience EVER!! Do not I repeat do not use this company, go ANYWHERE else. PLEASE DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY OR TIME. Now let's see how hard getting a refund will be. Will keep post updated.

Hi Christian's Dad. We have been trying to find out who you are since your last review. Please email [email protected] so we can assist you. If you have an order number, please let us know. The $68 price is also a bit confusing.
