I'm still in the learning phase with this company. I booked them to handle my daughter's promotion. I used them years ago and was quite fond of them. We've had some complications so far with this campaign. I'm hoping for the best. Will report back.

To start off, there was no radio interview even though they said they were going to get me on the radio. Also, the blogs we were on did not have a lot of foot traffic within them-if any. At the time of writing- my band is sitting on average-20 views/listens on TikTok, Spofity, & Youtube separately. In fact, YouTube is the most successful outcome of this whole marketing plan as of now with the most comments and engagement and it's still only nearly a quarter successful as the last song I did with them which was promoted on a significantly cheaper package. I would advise for future artists to just stick with the bare bones basic $800 package as that did enough for me and my band. Also, Karen rarely-if anything-talked to me during the process. Yeah, she gave me updates on emails but they weren't specific and really-that's what this whole thing kind of screams is generic, cookie cutter PR. Same guys, same roll out, same everything. It doesn't feel genuine nor original. All in all I'd like there to be more communication next time around and really, I would like them to be honest with me and just let me know if my music is the right fit for the company and not my wallet. To be fair-Starlight PR is a great PR company and I've worked with great people from there. I'll just make sure to go the basic route next time along with not working with Karen and someone I've actually worked with before. If anything, I'd like to stick with one person and not jump the gambit of different people providing the same thing. Thank you Starlight PR but I'm thinking the so-called, 'Momentum' you proposed is going to have to stop here.

Substantially more expensive, and substantially less effective than competing playlist and promotional companies. Comparably, we found that another service was able to achieve 40x the number of streams (90%+ of which appear to be verifiably organic based upon our Spotify Artist data) for the same song, at roughly 1/3 the cost of the Starlight campaign. I did find that the Starlight team was communicative, but their service is incredibly overpriced, and ineffective in general. YouTube and Tik Tok views/followers appear to be almost exclusively bots as well. Ultimately, the campaign was a total loss in terms of both organic engagement and stream count.
