With regards to the additional claim, over 17 years have passed since the conduct at issue occurred and Stansberry Research has since developed a rigorous, multi-tiered review of its investment research and marketing content. On February 5, 2020, the United States District Court for the District of Maryland vacated the permanent injunction entered against Stansberry Research. The Court lifted the injunction after Stansberry Research filed a motion to vacate the injunction. Notably, the Securities and Exchange Commission did not oppose Stansberry Research's Motion or the Court's decision to vacate the injunction.
